"this isn't over yet."
(my last words to the girl who gave me for fun and love a copy of Love Signs and a copy, later, of Star Signs, as we broke up, screaming and yelling. )
in the sense that even though lots of people are shouting '2012=THE END' i just sense that it isn't over.

i sense it from the flavor of relationships-- i sense that perhaps what the new age will offer us is for people to learn to go beyond in relationships -- to ask the questions and go the extra emotional mile...rather than taking shelter behind "BigBrother" who would have us think less independently, substituting contractual agreements for the committment to abiding and ACTIVE love relationships -- in all our lives.

I'd like to think that things wre going to be that way. i have had enough experiences and dis-appointment in relationships to get the insight that maybe we are all to become more intellectual abd effective about love -- instead of giving in to the "ah, well, it can't be helped" giving up and slowly fading away -- is THAT what the edge of the age of pisces, the last bit of it, is teaching me?

I have a ancestor living. she was born in 1910 and her stories of growing up have terrified me. and when I think of the lives of all the people in the world whose misery mirrors that which scarred her deeply, decades before i was born into this life -- and all that would HAVE to be done -- by human beings -- to create something better -- a world where little children did not have to live with the fear of or danger of violation --

I say this here in this forum because i realise that there are those here who would acept the neccessity of such a undertaking -- and the infinite possibility of human beings to undertake and succeed in creating such a world -- which -- to me - would be like heaven on earth.

of COURSE this relates to astrology. when i began in the last two years tolearn about the precession of equinoxes and how that relates to the ascending Aquarian age--

i was scared because i felt like i had been given insight once again to a deep truth that most everyone would be in denial about.

i pretty much blew off people i know who dabble in astrology because i understand what the precession of equinoxes implies but i don't much feel like arguing about placements and rulerships with astrologers who have invested a lot in their careers and their advice -- dare i say it -- old dogs who maybe refuse to learn new tricks!

One guy, Jim, said "oh, they'reboth valid." and i thought: "Jim and I are having a disagreement."

Jim...and I...? it's a weak joke.

But as closer as we get to the magical 2012 date -- and every time i look at Starry Night and it tells me the moon is somewhere around 24 degrees different from what many many professional web astrologers are saying -- i realise that there is something going on and it is --

disruptive - revolutionary -- "eureka" -- all the stuff of Aquarius/Uranus --

and in a way that makes me feel that my being correct is less important than all the problems those who are INVESTED in giving out "the fake astrology" are gonna have digging loose. some will be humble and just switch over because it's real.

but i imagine somwhere there is the astrologer who is INVESTED in making sure that their clients think X and Y and Z about themselves -- when A, B, and C have been the real truth for ALL THIS TIME...

My Natal mercury and Natal Uranus are STILL precisely square in aspect. But a TROPICAL astrologer would place them in utterly different signs than they were at themoment of my birth. UTTERLY DIFFERENT.

see how disruptive that is? how Uranian and yet potentially awakening?

IT'S SO HUGE and i am guessing that there are many things like this. this effects whole generations. i learned to IDENTIFY with the neptune in Scorpio generation.

neptune was no where near scorpio when i was born. except...in the minds of many astrologers.

THIS is what is behind Carl Sagan and the defaming Randi and other debunkers -- the precession of equinoxes. in other words -- if you take it for granted that the sun will be transitting Cancer on July 8 2004 you will be completely and independeltly within your rights to present that placement as the correct placement. and THIS summer you will find very few people who will have time or patience to argue with you about it. i won't argue but I KNOW IT'S WRONG.

Astrology's still compex. Perhaps this makes it more so = is THIS the Aquarian mutation?

when i think of angry jealous astrologers and their reaction to MY reaction -- my daring to say that sidereal is true and correct to use and other projections are based on subtle projection, suggestion more than the actual pull of heavenly bodies on mundane bodies -- i get ugly images like witch burnings at first --

then i relax and just imagine cold, stony indifference, people being determined to do what they are already doing cause sidereal is nice but you run and play, sonny, i got bills to pay --

and yet i also think of the many astrolgers, beginners and hold hands, who are looking forward to the change.

My Stationary Mars is still stationary. why DO anything. doing things is BORING. I could just run off at the mouth..and tell a true story...

of a boy and a girl who got swept away into Star Signs, were involved and now totally aren't...

and the way i feel 'born again' by what sidereal astrology teaches..."shift happens" -- is that phrase out of style?

well...i know that for the 11/6 woman and the 7/8 man -- there are two pairs of charts that could be drawn -- sidereal and tropical.

and i don't know what sign the moon is transitting now. i just know i could go to blankthe astrolgyservice.com and they will say it is in the sign that it would have been in if this was the year ONE AD.

instead of where it is now. cause i watch them and they remain devoted to tropical astrology. the idea of considering switching -- maybe it frightens them.

but even though i definitely have moon conjunct saturn -- I do -- it is NOT in Taurus as i had thought most of my life.

maybe when the 11/6 girl and the7/8 boy were breaking up -- the feeling the boy got -- that they didn't really know each other -- wasn't all that off base! cause i believed in my old chart -- my tropical chart -- like i was reading off a script.

my aries moon only knows that making a fight out of it will fail. no fun.

maybe i should take a few years off, move to colorado, do some research and looking at the stars, and then write a really great (or at least really thick) book?

Put it out in say, 2011.

what do you think?

--

I think that Linda would behest me to be honorable, lacking in malice, and to be painstaking with my research as befits a person with Pluto and Jupiter in Virgo. and wait until i am ready to put out a book about astrology...a little while......she would charge me to be the best person as a writer ad a believer in the sanctity of the Original art of astrology -- as a science of the planets and stars as well as of human nature...

some reading this might say -- well it's simple. he's a cancer, she's a scorpio -- they broke up, life is hard.

i want to fight those people.

I understand the feeling of wanting to fight. If you don't fight to live you are busy dying. With your Aries moon fighting is what you need, maybe you will find another sparring partner, another Scorpio?
