Hello... I came on here out of curiosity and am amazed by the answers people are giving and getting... I'd really like some help with stuff if anyone has any insights to offer....
Two years ago, and after several difficult years, (when I imagined things may begin to improve), my dearest friend died suddenly and tragically. This impacted myself, my family and all her friends enormously. In the two years my life has become almost unrecognisable, to the point that now I am afraid of the future. Everything appeared to become cursed- not that I believe that, but it begun to feel that way. I have been slandered and many people I thought were friends have turned against me, believing the stories told by one of my closest friends who I was always so good to. I have few left, and now I am afraid to trust. The friend who passed and I were very close, and it's especially hard as I have no one to talk to about it all, except my family who are shouldering their own pain. Some really horrific things happened concerning friends, we have been so badly stabbed in the back, yet all I ever tried to do was be good and kind and caring following this huge loss. I know I didn't deserve it. (sorry if I sound like I'm ranting!)One old friend even stole a lot of money from us in a separate incident this year.
I took up Buddhism, which helped calm me, but things still got worse. I found out my teenage daughter has been cutting herself because of all the pain, which is so so hard to cope with and the therapist I found to try to help her has been pretty bad, very judgemental and barking up every tree but the right one. The rest is the usual in a way- money worries, relationship problems, etc, but it's all so hard to deal with in this climate, and at times I have felt like I'm losing it, not something I have ever felt before.
Perhaps there is a gifted medium reading this, who my friend can 'talk' to me through? (hoping! I know she'd love that!)or anyone with any helpful thoughts... thankyou so much for any help, and even for reading this far!

Hi, thank you so much for getting back to me.... unfortunately I'm in the UK so those times are in the dead of night here. Anything from 2 or 3am till the morning proper!
I don't have to have a medium answer though, I'd be very happy with any guidance, if anyone felt they had any to offer! I just thought as my friend would have just loved the idea of speaking through a medium, it was appealing! x
