I am using my Linda Goodmans Star Cards and pulled two cards for each area.

Work
9 mars reversed
3 jupiter reversed

Both of these are very masculine cards. They speak to a masculine authority in the workplace that you may be having challenges with.
Jupiter is the planet of philosophy, religion, justice and wealth. Jupiter is very commanding and imposing. I get a feeling that this masculine authority expects a lot of his emloyees, yet with the reversal...seems like the pay is not what is up to par for the expectation. It may be that this work is what is pushing you to set your sights to higher education.
Mars is the planet of action, courage and aggression. Reversed it seems as if there was a need to approach someone rather directly or lacking tact and that approach sometimes shocks people. Mars reversed asks you to try to be less aggressive or domineering, as the behavior may be viewed as reckless. Every action has a consequence so if you feel yourself getting angry or heated, take a moment to step away and reflect on what's happening. You have the power to harness the hostile energy and turn it into something positive.

Neptune was known as the god of the sea and represents spirituality, sympathy, mystery and illusion. Neptune is a card of mystery, illusions, miracles and faith. Reversed I think that there has been some level of doubt about if you can actually carry through with work and school and all the other trappings of life. Can you do it? Yes you can! You have to have faith in your own abilities to be able to move to the next level. You may worry somewhat about the financial aspect of higher learning, you want to know that the future is well taken care of. Be still, do not be fearful as fear is a negative faith. Release the worry, wash it away. Expect a miracle. Miracles do happen.
On a side note, are you considering a career in a field related to the mind or psyche?
Awakening is akin to the soul waking like an animal from its state of hybernation after the winter is over. In terms of a timeline, perhaps spring is when your awakening in relation to higher learning will come. It is coming into a period of growth and change for you. This is a very positive and fulfilling enlightenment for you. It is exactly what you need to be doing.

19 prince of heaven reversed

The shattered citadel is a tower which has been struck by lightning, with a person wearing a crown falling or jumping from the tower. It speaks to failure to realize ones dreams...this person or relationship related to this card has experienced failure by being taken unaware...or unexpected. I might relate this relationship directly to the school issue as its directly next to Neptune and vibrates to the same number and planet. I think reversed citadel is telling you to take a step back from the relationship for a bit, find a quiet place to reflect on things. This card says there is no such thing as failure, only a lesson learned. For the future, keep your eyes open and always be prepared. This way you can spot trouble and take precautions before any harm can happen. Never ignore you inner voice sending messages from your soul. When it speaks, hear it and obey it.

The prince of heaven card reversed says you have been trying to wear a face of smiles...to be outwardly happy but your heart is wearing a sad face. There is a promise of happiness and fulfillment coming, you just have to let joy into your heart and move past the shattered citadel. The number 19 reduces to 10 and further to 1 and vibrates to the sun giver of life. In the end, you have to be happy with 1 or yourself before being able to accept and love someone else...and I think you'll be very successful in that aspect.

all these changes and challenges that are manifesting in your life are making you a stronger and wiser soul. Keep the faith through all of it, and keep in mind you can't fix everything. Let go and let God. Ordain everything you wish and it will be so.
