Topic: A man with Venus square Saturn (I loved and lost him)

The man I loved and lost has Venus (in Cancer) square Saturn (in Libra).
I'd say the main problem we had was I felt like he couldn't open himself up to me emotionally. It was painful and confusing. He had a really detached, almost hard quality. But I loved him, loved him madly.
We broke up a couple of months ago. He had not cried in probably 20 years, since he was a boy. But when he broke up with me, he sobbed and sobbed. Still, he left. I have tried for 2 months to get him back, but he wont come back. There was no big trouble leading to our breakup, no lying or cheating or anything like that. He just said, and says, he can't "give me what I need." I think he means real emotional intimacy.
Anybody have insights into the Venus-square-Saturn thing? I know a little about it, but would like to learn more. Do you have any suggestions for wooing back a man with this aspect in his natal chart? Or is it hopeless? He's 29. I'm 33. IP: Logged |

Stella,The charts would help. Venus conjunct Jupiter is one of my favorite aspects for synastry As for the gentleman, his chart would reveal if there are ways to get around his venus square saturn and how strong saturn is in his chart and which house it affects. IP: Logged |
