My question is : what are the prospects for the publishing project I am trying to embark on ? Is it gonna be successful? What can I do to make it better/ make it happen ?

A lot of good things will happen to you but if I look at the previous and the next cards and make a combination I see that if you want this outcome to happen you need to do some things that might not suits your personality.
6. Immediate future- 7 of cups - is warning you to be grounded. To be realistic. Its not bad to dream and to fantasize but you need to realize that only work will help you reach what you want.
7. Factors affecting situation - 9 of Swords - This card is showing that the problems from the past might come back and I speak here about your attitude regarding this situation. 9 of swords shows both guilt and worry. Maybe you did something that wasnt right as the present position is showing or maybe you are just worried about what result will have the project. Either is bad for you at least emotionally.
8. External influences- 8 of Pentacles - Work. Coworkers. Detail. You are "covered" by work and it seems that you put a lot of effort to have things done.
9. Hopes and Fears- Knight of Pentacles -Your hopes is to have of course a positive result. You are a hardworker and you are very dedicated to what are you doing. Be carreful in not transform the situation into obssesion due your fears. Fearing something is understable as long doesnt affect you emotionally and not your health (pentacles rules health also). Knights are movement. Calm down yourself and think positively.
10. Future outcome - 2 of Wands - This card is a very good card. Shows progress. To me, in combination with 10 of cups, the answer is yes, expect positive things to happen but if you want that to happen you need to work on yourself. On your behaviour.

So, let me say 5 swords is pretty accurate except maybe the interpretation might be slightly different. I have been working on projects w an independent-to-mainstream publisher, and I felt really used, my value understated and all. I just felt like he might be after my idea or get mad at me about not sharing it and keeping all the kudos to myself. Because it is a really good idea.

High Priestess - true, I had massive doubts whether I should do this at all. Same goes for King of Pents

Also, obvs, I'll have to work my fingers to the bone to make it happen and make a good product. And it involves taking action. So yeah, seems precise.
