Three of pentacles - King of Cups - Eight of CupsI am not entirely sure what to make of this.
it seems like you are working on the relationship. Or that it is slowly developing into something more.
The King of Cups seems to be very positive in terms of strong romantic feelings being there.
So far that looks good. However the 8 of cups confuses me, as I usually see this as a card of someone leaving.
It could be though that he doesn`t leave you or the relationship behind but that there is something else / someone else he has to leave behind in order to have a relationship with you. I donīt know this though. As I said it is a bit confusing to me.

thanks for your reply, thats interesting what you got. right now we're not speaking, but we've had an on/off pattern for a long time... there is very real true love between us, but i dont know what to expect for the future. the idea of having to leave something else behind in order to be with me is interesting because he just got out of a long, difficult divorce. while its physically behind him, it isn't emotionally, yet, and that is i think what blocks us being able to make progress together...i hope the 8 of cups isn't one of us walking away...IP: Logged |
