I can't get over D, to me he has all the qualities I want in a man. I know my feelings for him are genuine, but at the same time it's too intense for comfort. To be honest, I'm still not sure what true love is so it would be nice to get some insight.1. Am I in love with D, or obsessed?

As long as you focus on the importance of trust, reliability, good communication, and everything that makes a relationship successful then things could evolve into something more. It seems that way. What I'm getting is that he feels a lack of security with you and he's trying to find ways to gain it back. He doesn't want whatever bond you have to fade so he may be taking extreme measures, such as manipulation.
