Can you help me understand what does it mean having jupiter in Virgo retrograde in the 2nd house ?
It is trine to my sun in taurus I the 10th house
Does it is really bad ? Being in Virgo and also retrograde ?

Jupiter in Virgo this is direct, because I am still trying to understand the retros since the energy is shifted towards us within us. Jupiter in in the 2nd house could mean earning, jobs coming from foreign cultures, travel because of work, work in teaching or spirituality. In Virgo could mean analytical work think all types of Virgo work, whatever it is you will strive for perfection in your earning or what you value in some way I also associate the body with the second because after all we value ourselves our bodies more so your possessions.. From studying several charts and asking peoples experience on solar return chart its better to have Jupiter in the second house more so than the 10th as most have commented as higher earning better status while Jupiter is in the 2nd, points if your Jupiter is aspecting Venus and Pluto. Venus the other money ruler-jupiter expands and well Pluto just (POW) can't describe Pluto (intensifies) love that planet.Hope this is of some help. IP: Logged |

But what do you think about what many says that this is a bad placement as jupiter here is debilitated being in Virgo and retrograde so putting it in 2nd house would indicate a person who is optimistic about money but actually he does not have it like he is carless and always think that things will go well without doing effort, do get the point ?
