Always feel like i can easily understand someone else point of view. But when i express my own they say that i never make sense, or that i am unrealistic..

But everything i am saying comes from a real standpoint..

As in you're not coming off clear? You try to explain things thoroughly but people still don't understand your sorta thing?

would u mind giving us an example?

usually it's how u deliver the message.
you can have great ideas but people won't believe/ trust if if u can't effectively communicate it.

I think you must look at your 7th house (interactions with others) and your mercury (speech & communication).

It can tell a lot about why this happens to you. Or maybe you feel misunderstood because you don't know how to structure your words or you're not using the right words.

I can relate because me too I have difficulty explaining things to people I'm a more visual than verbal person.

Basically I feel like when I express my real opinion I have to constantly repeat myself over and over again for others to understand it. Then my words get taken the wrong way and get accused of not making any sense (or that what I'm saying doesn't sound realistic).

Then I have to go BACK and re-explain my original point from the beginning, and THEN they can finally understand what I was trying to say (hopefully)..

I can't say if I sound "clear" or not. I sound very clear in my point of view. I know what, and why I'm saying what I'm saying. But it seems like some people don't, or can't see what I'm seeing..

For some reason its mostly guys that i have to deal with when it comes to this. My female friends always get and understand what I'm trying to say surprisingly..

My Mercury is in the 7th house. It squares my MC (which I think has a lot to do with it). It also sesquiquadrate's my Neptune in 11th

i want to write this somewhere

i was just calling to a dog down the street in my neighbourhood from my door, some might say, was he really communicating with that dog? to which i reply, hmm, well. The professional psychologists and doctor's both agreed (from measuring the dogs heart vibration pulse) that i was making it calm down and bark more lovingly, with more love, and well, they say how did i know how to do that and "speak" to the dog? well.

how do i know how the dog feels for one, because that comes first in communicating. how do i understand from its barks how it feels? well easy. you can sense it. in the vibrations, in the time loops, i can sense that it can understand me as well.

I'm sorry I don't really believe in sesuiquadrates and stuff and mercury making square with MC shouldn't be the reason.

What you must look is in which house is your 7th house ruler, in which sign is your mercury and what aspects it is making and all that. People with many planets in the 12th can feel misunderstood too. I can't really tell you like this I'll have to see your birth chart for that.

But what I feel is that you have a very unique and different logic and way to look at and understand things because of which others can't get your P.O.V.

I notice you have your co-chart ruler in the 12th house, and the other ruler conjunct Neptune AND in aspect to mercury and your 3rd HR… What do you think about these aspects? I have my chart ruler in the 12th (Mercury) opposite Uranus. I don’t so much feel misunderstood as I do disregarded for the same reason you’ve listed – too unrealistic/idealistic. Haha. Whatever! I spend a lot of time in my head, and I’ve noticed that translating these thoughts to those who haven’t spent so much time thinking about something is difficult. They miss important connections between concepts that I always assume are obvious. What really kills me is when people won’t entertain my thoughts. Not that I think my thought or ideas deserve some special form of attention, but why disregard something just because it seems unrealistic or different from whatever prevailing understanding there is. Maybe, if we collectively entertain different possibilities, we can come up with new insights. I AM NOT UNREALISTIC. HAHAHA. I just wanna make the impossible possible. What’s so difficult about that. Lol. I do have transit Neptune square Mercury right now though. I’ve seen others with their chart ruler in the 12th that have similar issues in being understood. Also, are the misunderstanding related to your ideas, or the way you communicate? You are uranian after all. Ideas ahead of its time and all that. Mere mortals may need more time to evolve. lol

I feel EXACTLY the same way you do. I've learned to never try to make sense of what other people think, because thats how they think. We can debate, but I'm only debating you to see and understand how you see and understand the topic. Whatever you feel is whatever you feel, and as long as you understand WHY you feel the way you feel, who is to say that you are wrong??

With me on the other hand when i express my point of view its like I'm being challenged by others because they aren't comfortable with what I'm saying. Some will say "yeah i get what you're saying but....." and then try to convert me away from my original point, or try to throw in another subject that completely deals with something else. I can understand that we can discuss different topics, but don't try to take what I'm saying, twist it, and make it seem like something else...

I just hate that man...

Meee too!

Aristotle said, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” It’s a skill that most are unable to master. If it weren't, wouldn't things be different.

I guess its discomforting or threatening even to encounter ideas that challenge what we think we know. It involves acknowledging error in our reasoning. For those not so dedicated to understanding the WHYs, it’s threatening. Ignorance is bliss, right. This is especially challenging for men since they are more connected to their masculine energy than women. Defensiveness is a natural response to a threat - real or perceived – conscious or unconscious. That may explain the getting on with females better. I’ve observed that people are much more driven by their emotions and primal instincts than we may think. It takes a lot of awareness to understand the WHYs!! The narrow mindedness that results though is so defeating and counterproductive.

Too many times I’ve been in situations where I thought I knew best to later discover I knew nothing. I’ve learned to be indulgent.
The world is such an irrational place. Sheesh!

You hit the nail on the head

Understanding is more about understanding the why instead of critiquing the "what"

Wow dodger. I like the way you don't judge other people's point of view. People like this are hard to find. I'm afraid that I'm judgemental but I think I'd be happier if I weren't, because sometimes I'm way too harsh on others AND on myself. Judging I see as a way of understanding others based in your own beliefs, but they might not always have a solid base!
Since many people (including myself) can judge I really admire that you are so open-minded and neutral.
Are you sure you have no Gemini in you? I knew a Gemini who was like this. Or maybe it was his placements

I would say I TRY not to be judgmental. I definitely have moments when i can be a lil too blunt when it comes to my opinions. But never have a called someone nonsensical or stupid because of what they believe. I just believe that we should listen to expand our own understanding, instead of listening to bring down what someone else has said and reinforce our own...

As for the gemini..I have a gemini IC. So I harness that energy very well/instinctively
