Wow Ceri...Seems that your boss think you're a good person, and is a potential leader in the job. Seems like someone that she/he think is a person who you can always count in. And in the middle of this, I think the boss thought: this woman needs a rest! Vacations??? IP: Logged |

I was also kinda getting that vibe.. That your boss is thinking something along the lines of "she needs a break" xD I still don't know much about tarot though, so I can't judge much from that spread. I think you're doing a pretty good job. IP: Logged |

I think the 4 of swords here also relates to history, storytelling, imagination. He certainly enjoys the way you express yourself, the way you know how to tell a story. He thinks you are a star among the teachers, and we know that too  It's one of the cards for someone being very knowledgeable and able to transmit the facts in an appealing, mesmerizing manner. Also someone who is very reflective and doesn't speak unless they have something important to say. The 4 of sw might also suggest the meeting was about plans and/or examinations, it's an exam card. He also perceives you as very feminine, but distinguished ------------------

Yes, I need a vacation. (just one more day to go! Yay)But also Leeloo, you are right, the meeting was an educational/ disciplinary one about a pupil of mine, and it was a very serious issue and we had to determine if the pupil is being made to leave our school or stay for another chance (had to do with his times of absences and him not taking the work serious at all, and some other stuff).
I know that everyone in the room wanted him to be gone, actually most of my colleagues have been complaining and complaining about him to me (and about the whole schoolsystem), just wanting him to be gone, and while I don`t like the pupil either (arrogant and pampered kid, unfortunately, and with a serious defective self-perception), I didn`t want the decision to be that he has to leave school instantly. Donīt ask me why, but it just gave me the worst feeling. I KNOW he will mess up this chance, too, but for some reason I thought it important to give him that last chance.
Well the decision was in my (and his) favour, we did what I wanted to do, even though pretty much everyone else in the room wanted him to be gone (also because he is such an unpleasant person).
The reason why he wasn`t being expelled however has abit to do with something that I consider my "failing". Pupils are only allowed to be absent for a certain time (without apology and explanation) and after that they can be expelled without any more ado. Short notice. However while I did gather the information about his missing times, the fellow teachers were not giving me the exact dates when he was missing without justification. and some were not answering my mails at all. Well I sent them three or four reminders. But I *COULD* have sent one more and telling them to list the exact unjustified missing times - with dates (we are living in Germany, bureaucracy is our real chancellor  ).
I didn`t, so my colleagues were counting but they didn`t manage to find enough of these missing days. And well I know my boss wanted him to be gone, too, and maybe he is annoyed or disappointed with me not doing my job properly beforehand.
Well I know that i did pretty much in terms of talks and writing mails, but I just failed to do that extra-step to ensure the extradition. And part of me wonders if I might have done it on purpose- unintentionally- because I maybe did not want the result to be that the pupil is being expelled instantly?
I mean now he is being given the time to look for another school or maybe doing something more practical, a job.
I fear he won`t do that, because of his warped perception, but at least it is a chance, right?
But yeah, I can rationalize it all I want, it was my mistake that the conference couldnīt come to the result they actually all wanted to.
Not sure how that is reflected in the cards though. IP: Logged |

I think that you expressed your generosity (Empress) and took part in offering a second chance (Star) so I am sure this must be important for the pupil's destiny in some way, these are very strong cards, who knows what might happen. I don't see any signs of disappointment here from your boss, maybe secretly, in his mind (4 of sw) a part of him was reluctant to the boy being expelled. ------------------
