That made me think of two possible, but contradictory interpretations.
Either it means that he is moving away from you and seeking out new adventures. Or it might mean that this talk will lead to a continous working on improving things, making them smoother, and you will get into calmer more harmonious waters but at the same time move into a phase that will be more thrilling, more passionate, sharing a lot of physical chemistry (though with the Knight you never know for how long of course).
