Well, you mentioned not knowing if his feelings are true, and I'd say there's more to this book than its cover... I'd say that there's definitely a connection with you and you two are very compatible, there's a familiar feeling between your energies, but he also has motives in the back scene that he's not revealing to you. It doesn't mean he is bad-intended, it just means that he probably would prefer this to go into a direction that would not be your choice - I think he feels this inside, therefore is the reason why he's not being fully open with you, and possibly even saying things at times because he knows that's what you'd like to hear. There will still be progression from this point, you'll get closer and this situation will linger for a while, but I don't see it moving into a committed relationship... It feels to me that you guys will possibly be stuck in this dynamic.
