I see that this man is very possessive of you and it seems that he is unwilling to reach out to you, but takes some comfort in controlling you? Or you do not wish to return to him, one of the two. Either way he is trying to get you to come back to him in a domineering way. I see that he may be into dark magic and perhaps there is a sense of vengeance involved that he try's to control. I think that maybe also you have been seeing many signs related to him, maybe even he pops into your head at times? Either way, I recommend counteracting it with some healing energy.
