I think yes, he will be impressed, I think you are trying to lose weight to impress him more then anything. Do you want to date him? I don't think it is going to make a difference, I see that he may be sexually attracted to you after he sees you. But he has nothing relationship wise with you in his mind.
I think you need to lose weight for yourself though. Do it to feel empowered.

you're right about that ww! it's half and half though, partially to impress him and for myself, been trying to lose weight for years and this gave me the kick in the butt i needed. i have work today, but if you don't mind me pulling later, i can do it

For the first ?, although things feel a bit hazy it seems like there is a high likelihood of conception in near future (The Sun as outcome). There seems to be a lot of miscommunication or distance between you both (The Hermit), with unknown variables (High Priestess). As to how he would take the news, it seems like an initial panic (The Chariot) followed by getting it together and being practical/logical (Justice).
