Interesting

How do you find the energy of those plants on your Ascendant?

I have the same, but it’s in Scorpio over my MC/10th house

Chiron conjunct the cusp of the 8th, and North Node in the 9th: that reminds me of your talking about therapy and mental health, and also trying to bring the focus of Global Unity back to just that.

Venus in the 3rd and Jupiter in the 1st: you don't seem anti-social.

It feels like I get 3 options on how to respond to stuff. For a long time it was a guess which one would work out. Although still if I respond too conservatively, I get the urge to be more assertive, but when I'm assertive, I get worried I should be more conservative. I suppose just Libra rising alone could account for this, but it often feels like separate parts of me arguing on how to respond/express something.

I do need to be careful. People can think I am being aggressive/combative when I feel passionately about something (even though I'm just expressing myself, not trying to change minds). I can throw a lot of energy outwards when expressing myself, and I'm often surprised when I get a negative response or interpretation back. I'm actually very introverted (I hibernate), but perceived as extrovert, which I think is down to so much of my chart funnelling through the ASC. Social interactions are exhausting.

MC is a public point, but Scorpio isn't particularly outgoing. Do you have similar issues to me then - perceived as aggressive when you're not trying to be and perceived as more extrovert than you are?

Yeah, I'm pretty comfortable with Chiron energy, that's probably why I was able to work with people who were very unwell. That, and the fact I was part raised by someone who had a schizophrenia diagnosis. But a lot of the people I worked with had similar wounds to what I had sustained, so a case of the wounded healer I guess. I don't do this work any more though. I realised the system in which people are expected to be 'healthy' and 'happy' in is a farce. So I moved my focus to trying to understand the system (that's why I took a masters in applied social science).

Oh the anti-social thing was a joke from another thread

(GCE leans in a bit closer, squints, suddenly turns about face and books it to the hills never to be seen again...)

J/K!

Thank you for sharing Voix. Yes, there is definitely some heaviness going on, but there is some balance from mid to fast vibratory symbols. As you mentioned, Jupiter in the 1st. But also, you have Cap Venus conjunct Cap South Node, which indicates that both Venus and Cap energies were built up very strong in the past. A mid vibratory Planet with a faster vibratory Sign.

Then Aqua IC with Aqua Mercury very closely conjunct it. Again, a mid vibratory Planet and faster vibratory Sign. Then Aqua Sun, ruler of the MC, in the 4th. Sun is potentially very fast vibratory, and 4th House energies are very past oriented (along with Moon and South Node).

Curious, are you very drawn to a very deep and somewhat darkish violet purple type shade at all?

As promised, here is mine as well: http://drive.google.com/file/d/17rCZt3zdLOktVpRgBKKNP0Xcwl_bCGa2/view

We have an interesting and fairly strong chart comparison. I knew there was a reason why I liked you. Your Aqua Sun is in my 7th House and almost exactly conjunct my Aqua Venus. Your Chart ruler and 8th House ruler, Venus in Cap+S.N. is conjunct my Chart ruler the Sun in Cap and trine my Virgo Saturn ruler of Sun and Mercury Sign and co-ruler of Venus and DESC Sign.

Your Virgo Moon is conjunct my Virgo Saturn and Libra Moon conjunction.

Your Libra Mars is very closely square my Cap Sun and moderately closely trine my Aqua Venus and generally the same Sign of my Libra Moon (I have noticed that especially with same and opposite Signs, in Synastric connections, they don't even need to be in orb of aspect to notice and feel a connection--it's just more immediate and intense the closer the aspect). And your Libra Saturn ruler of your Venus/South Node and co-ruler of your Mercury, IC, and Sun is closely conjunct my Libra Pluto (ruler of my IC), trine Aqua Venus.

And your Scorp Jupiter, ruler of 5th, is almost exactly conjunct my Scorp IC and in same Sign as my Uranus, modern ruler of my Venus and DESC .

What's interesting is how close a number of these aspects are.

Lol, apparently we were married in another life or something?! Well, don't know how you feel about it, but I guess I'm just going to have to start referring to you as my shy, slightly asocial, sexy Librarian Scottish Jo.. not to put you on the spot or anything. With that Mars, ruler of your 7th, so closely square my Sun though, I think I'm going to have to watch out for etheric pans and dishes flying at my head occasionally. "Oh, just a minor etheric flesh wound and just an etheric lover's spat"

If not obvious, the above is meant in a spirit of a combo of light hearted flirting and tongue in cheek humor. Kidding aside though, it is a pretty strong Synastric chart comparison.

Nice to have met you again Voix. Definitely not the first time for sure.

Thank you for explaining my vibrations I can't say that's something I have considered before. Glad I have some lighter stuff going on there, it gets tiring being as subtle as a brick!

That is certainly is a preponderance of connections, although I think those with Uranian and Saturnian energies can often feel quite misunderstood. I've noticed a kind of instant kinship in RL with people who have those energies. Although this could also be down to Capricorn SN familiarity. My previous relationship was with another Aqua Sun/Cap Venus, we were instant friends and were in a relationship for 7 years, but to be honest, it never really increased in depth over time. Always felt like a friendship trying to be a relationship. We had a key interest in common though and that's what connected us and kept us together so long I think. And gave the illusion of more depth than what was really there. When that folded, there was nothing to salvage for me.

Thanks for sharing your chart. I was sure I felt Leo energy from how you expressed yourself in your posts. I've found Venus conjunct Sun a kinship aspect too. I had it both ways with my first love and despite being very young (aged 14), we became very serious about each other very quickly, got engaged (age 15) had a child (age 17). But he cheated on me I completely understand it was just too much too young and don't hold it against him now. We have for the most part gotten on well as distant co-parents and there are no grudges. It did break my heart for a long time though. And the trust issues, never fully healed.

Tell me about your Virgo NN?
And how does your Chiron conjunct MC play out? Both of these point to a life/career dedicated to healing, but with the NN being in the 1H, your eventual destiny would be self-healing? Which is the opposite way from which you would usually (but not always) take a healing journey. First self, then others. But you appear to have it the other way around. Which is quite Chironic in itself, as the Chiron wound is rather worked with and used to inform, rather than resolved. Or perhaps you will achieve your NN as somewhat of a side effect of guiding other people through your Chiron/MC?

ETA: If your Libra Moon falls in my 12H, that perhaps gives you the ability to 'see through' the heavy weights guarding the rest of my chart.

And yes, purple is my 2nd favourite colour, second only to blue. Preferably of the tie dye variety.

You have these energies in Libra which challenge the balance. I can imagine that after your Saturn return your had developed the skills to direct the energies constructively, or integrate them better.

This conjunction seems to square you chart ruler too. Are your tastes, love and passions and self perception very black and white?

I do relate to some of what you have said. I am not just perceived as aggressive, I pretty much am, and have history too which I’m not happy about, But to direct my energies I was a competitive boxer from early teens to mid twenties. Has several terrible injuries from sports in general and traffic accident too.

The problem is through my career, I have been plagued with controversy and legend, neither has stopped me from progressing but is a theme that has followed me, and also being sexualised (might sound weird coming from a man) I also have Neptune conjunction my Asc so that may have something to do with its.

I very much am an extrovert, I’m happy spinning my magic in the shadows.

Yes, the biggest change did happen in the years following my Saturn return. I actually joined LL during Sat Ret and began learning about astrology. So LL (and all those who helped me understand my chart) helped me understand the energies better. I think Saturn was the hardest one to work with, I still carry a deep sense of not being enough. It's something I'll probably have to rationalise for the rest of life to avoid becoming too morose.

Do you feel that you never really stop to give yourself recognition, always feeling that you could have done better? It'll be amplified with me though due to Virgo Moon.

Yes, if I don't check myself I can be quite black and white. I let it go unchecked with food for example, meaning I have a very limited diet, but nutritionally and calorifically balanced, but limited in range. Which I'm fine with. Eat to live, not live to eat and all that. I have a handful of interests which can become obsessions and can be very difficult to tear myself away from to reengage with life/people, I guess that is quite black and white. 0-100 in general, yeah, I guess.

I imagine these conjunctions could play out slightly differently for a male. For example, socially, it's more acceptable for a man to express himself aggressively, if not actually expected. And the opposite for a female. Boxing is a great idea to channel those energies and you were obviously self-aware enough at a young age that you needed to find a way to direct them. I was not that self-aware until, like you said, after my Saturn return.

The sexualisation may come from your Pluto/Mars being so visible. I've experienced this also. And men can be quite sexually aggressive toward me even when I've not been giving off any signals. Do you have Venus square your Pluto/ASC? I think this can amplify being sexualised as well. But yeah, Neptune/ASC could lead to being idolised/fantasised, add in Pluto/Mars...

I suppose there are careers where it helps to be a bit aggressive, perhaps you chose a career where this is an advantage?

I can tell, I quite like/relate to your intensity. Comes of well in this forum.

Your 10th house ruler (Sun) is in hard aspect to Chiron. Talk about Healing with the heat of the sun - do you bring light to disabled/injured, or of that ilk? Do you feel uncomfortable being recognised at work, or that sometimes you feel taking pride in your abilities is bittersweet? Or that Your work environment is comforting and you recharge here, seen as the aspect is touching your 4th house?

Me? I do have Pluto/Venus square (Wide, 4d orb). Venus 1st house so everyone can see my struggles.

I am, soon to be was, a surgeon. I set up my own company a year ago so will concentrate on moving forward with that.

I think my temperament and aggression has helped me achieve what I have, I have bad Karma from my youth (or past life if you believe in that) but I have done some beautiful things in restoring people lives, that I will take to my grave knowing I have made a change. I have always been respected but I may not have been liked, purely because I get results and people can trust me to lead. But without this, I don’t think I would have had the same respect and support that’s for sure.

I will try and post my chart.

Are you my chart twin?

When I worked in mental health, I certainly tried to shine a light for people to see the mechanisms behind their pain. Often by the time people sought help they were so overwhelmed that they could not easily make the connections anymore between thoughts and events that may have been either causing or maintaining their suffering. All I ever really did was try to open up their perception and walk beside them while they investigated themselves. People are tough stuff and have more insight than they realise, often all they need is to feel you are there with them and are not afraid to walk into the unknown beside them. I know that's abstract, I did use recognised tools and training in my work too, but I think it was the above approach that was the real catalyst.

Numerous studies have found that no matter what therapy someone engages in, it is the therapeutic relationship which ultimately determines the therapeutic value of any intervention. It didn't always make me popular with colleagues. They didn't always want to think about things so deeply or take the time to just sit in the fire with someone. Their urge would often be to jump in and try to 'fix' the person or give solutions to all their problems. Not all though. One colleague had the same approach as me and knew where I was coming from.

I never felt fully accepted by the mental health field and I can tell that superiors were wary of me. Still trying to figure that one out. I had an interview years ago for a job I was definitely qualified for. I was interviewed first by the senior managers and got on swimmingly, however, when it came to the 2nd stage interview with the new direct line manager she actually said to my face that she would 'find me unmanageable'! I was gobsmacked.

The 4H thing I think is personal rather than work oriented. I spend a lot of time at home and would love to work from home. Home is my safe and creative place.

I can completely relate to being respected but not liked. Totally. And, I don't know about you, but I would take respect over 'like' any day.

Having your own company would probably be good for your rising planets, as you will have more control. I think that's really important with prominent Pluto and Saturn, as from what I gather, the immediate past energies of these planets usually relate to disempowerment either through misuse of power or restriction. So, the lesson for this life could be to learn how to manage power. How to manage your own, without roughshodding, but also how to manage power in others. To be able to learn from others without it being a superiority contest (or at least that's something I had to learn). Did you struggle with authority as well?

Hahaha, it gets better, Wait till you see my whole chart.

Sounds intense re: work and how you work your energies.

Yeah, I can see that with the 4th house. Was my first instinct to mention that but wondered if the link was there, speculating so to speak.

I’m my younger years I was not good at harnessing my energies and vision. I was probably really hard to work with, almost a bit like a tyrant sad to say.

Yes, authority when I was younger I always had clashed with. Wasn’t until after my Saturn return that I transformed and became a master of what I was born with.

From here I have gone strength to strength. My vibration has definitely changed.

Well, I can't wait now!

As for tyrant, do you not find that you just have so much analysis and energy behind your convictions that it's really difficult to stay lukewarm about anything you've invested your energy in?

You appear to have had a very transformative journey. I know its not a competition, but you are ahead of me. I am still integrating the chart, I feel I have control of the energy most of the time, rather than IT controlling ME, but I don't feel I have mastered it yet, in terms of true alchemy which manifests in the world, such as your company.

Right, show me this chart then!

Just to add, I think what is adding to the energies and how they are being manifested is that I don’t have the three planet stellium that you do; mine organised differently but you will get the picture when you see.

How do I post a chart? It’s been a while.

Oh, I see, I was assuming we had the same thing. OK, to post your chart:

Cast your chart in astro.com, then right-click the chart and save the picture to your desktop. You can crop off your birth data at the top for privacy in Paint or other photo editing programme.

You then need an image hosting site. I use Imgur:
http://imgur.com/

Upload your photo to your Imgur library (or whatever photo hosting you use) then copy the 'BBCode' link. Paste the link into your post here and remove the 's' from the link before submitting your reply.

Best I can do juggling three kids at tea time.

We have the same three planets influencing different axis, although you have the typical stellium, so I was interested how that played out for you.

Ahhh OK. I thought you also had Mars/Saturn with Pluto ON ASC. A few things to disregard from my post above then

But, seriously? You also have Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Virgo and Venus in Capricorn?? IN addition to Mars conjunct Saturn! That's the closest to my chart I've seen. Prior to this, the closest was my longest friend who was born 4 days after me, but he has Scorpio Moon.

And I see the Mars/Saturn is in your 10th, so this is why you have encountered reactions to this energy in work, as that's where you express it. Sorry if you said it was in the 10th, I must have missed that.

WELL. Nice to meet you chart twin

Is your Virgo Moon as pedantic as mine?

Not so much pedantic, but I need routine. It keeps me sane.

Like food, when I eat, gym, work, cooking my kids meals.

Structure I suppose, need to be focused on something.

I can go dark when I have nothing to do 😂

Yes, boredom is a dangerous business. Although I can't imagine you experience that often with 3 children

I’ll link it properly, when I’m on my computer. I have Ceres conjunct my Chiron/sun, too.

Hi Teasel, thanks for sharing your chart!

I imagine that Chiron/Sun gives you a lot of compassion toward others who are suffering? I have seen you jump to defend 'the underdog' on LL at times which may tie in with this. Chart ruler in the 11th + Uranus rising would amplify this humanitarianistic approach to others?

It's funny, I often see you talk about 'grounding' - do you think this is because your chart is low in earth? Do you consider cusps? Because your Moon and Venus in Gemini are straddling the cusp of Taurus.

We both have Midheaven in Leo - how does this MC play out for you?

You're welcome Voix. "Subtle as a brick" reminds me of a song I like by Jethro Tull, "Thick as a Brick". I started out the usual way with astrology like most via the mainstream and pop versions (age 13), but then around age 16, got into the Cayce work among other things, and I took a left turn into much deeper and metaphysical aspects of astrology. Became obsessed with figuring out the connections between astrology, the aura, the chakras and endocrine glands, nonphysical dimensions, numerology, etc. Even before Cayce's source pointed out there were connections between all these different ways of perceiving and understanding "vibratory rates in relation to consciousness" (i.e. a more objective measure of consciousness in relation to the ultimate--pure Love), I had already sensed this. Spent awhile trying to figure it all out free of dogma and distortion.

Needless to say, I look at charts very differently than a number of folks. For me, I almost see an aura painting in a sense. I should have seen your blue connection with your combination of very strong Venus, Capricorn, and Aquarius (respectively, cyan, medium to deeper blue, and electric cobalt to near indigo blue). But I was more focusing on your Jupiter (more royal purple), Scorpio (deep and/or dark reddish purple), and Pluto (dee and/or dark reddish purple though not exactly same as Scorpio) combo.

That two of your main color preferences are blue and purple, backs up my perception that you're an older Soul type (as these are faster vibratory color indications). We usually most gravitate towards the colors that are strongest in the mental layer of our aura. The whole "Like attracts, begets, resonates with, and likes Like on the deeper, energetic levels" thang. Although, sometimes we are attracted to the polar opposite color(s) if we feel we need greater balance. For for example, "sometimes" a person with a lot of purple/violet in their aura, might be attracted to yellow (Mercury) the opposite--whether in colors or in people.

Uh Oh, my Leo energy? Was I being extra again? I'm so going to have to have a talk with the body (Leo ASC)... It happens every so often. Should see it at karaoke, oh my lord, it's like, "reign it in little lion man". Don't even ask about Bohemian Rhapsody renditions..

Thank you for sharing some of your past connections and the astrology of same. Yeah, I have found that same Planet/sign to same Planet/sign connections are often not near as affecting as different planet to planet connections. As to the other connection, that's some very early, very serious connection there. It's like you jumped straight from childhood to adulthood.

My partner has an Aqua Sun, which is pretty close to my Aqua Venus (and in my 7th). Must be doing something right, as we've been together for almost 20 yrs. She has Cap ASC cusping Aqua some too, along with Aqua Venus and South Node in her 1st, and Aries Moon. She is a rather strong personality. She had a dream about one of her Spirit's rare male lifetimes as a Spanish conquistador type. Can believe it! But with Libra Moon conjunct Virgo Saturn, Aqua DESC, and Aqua Venus almost exactly trine Libra Pluto, and modern ruler of these in Scorpio, I have a definite penchant and liking for rather strong willed and minded women (apparently). Thank the Gods/Goddesses and the Prime Creator, she has Venus in her 1st, otherwise it would be, "Oy to the Vey times 10". I mean, if I had wanted to marry a manyly man, I would have married a manly man.

Going deep and straight to the Chiron and N. Node I see... (trying to unlock my deepest darkest wounds and what not), how very Plutonian of you.. Chiron: My last direct dive, I was very involved with holistic healing of others. In this life, have had some friends tell me that they have had dreams of me working on their energy--adjusting and balancing same. Career is a bit of a sore point for me in general. True to a Taurus (throat) MC, I would love to be able to earn money by my voice, but so far, it's been a no go. With both Mercury and Jupiter very closely trine my MC, speaking and communicating about spirituality feels to be a general calling.

Virgo NN in 1st: Oh, the usual, had a need to develop discernment, discrimination, boundaries, the ability to say no and mean it, practical service to others, focus on diet, health, and healing of the body (indicated along with ruler of the 6th, Saturn, in Virgo, and Cap Sun cusping into 6th). I see the ultimate point of NN/SN, as developing the NN and integrating and balancing it with the SN eventually. Not an "either or" situation, but a balanced integration.

So sometimes I use my psychic/intuitive gifts, spiritual insight, tolerance, empathy (Pisces SN) to help others (7th) in practical, grounded, pragmatic ways (Virgo NN) while trying to maintain boundaries (Virgo NN in 1st). Also a penchant for quiet leadership with it so closely cusping Leo and with the ruler--Mercury conjunct the Sun/Chart ruler in Cap and so closely trine the Jupiter part of the Mars Jupiter conjunction.

I have repeating patterns underlying this basic theme and connection of NN/SN polarity. For some examples, ruler of the 12th, the Moon conjunct ruler of 6th, Sun, and Mercury--Saturn--which is also in Virgo, Jupiter in Virgo retrograding back into the 1s and trine it's ruler--Mercury with .5 degree, ruler of the Chart the Sun both parallel Neptune and conjunct Mercury, etc. Lot's of purple/violet integration and balancing with lots of yellow and tan--the opposite.

My "talent" which comes from a number of lifetimes and hard work, is a particularly balanced/integrated Whole Brain type orientation, perspective, and perception. I can both see/perceive the Forest (combination of Pisces background, strong Jupiter and Neptune) really well, and also all the little bitty individual Trees (strong Mercury and Virgo) at the same time. Which ultimately leads to an overly preachy and pedantic type...

Dunno about what correlates astrologically to seeing the deeper levels of you, but I can kind of do that with most people very well if I want to, but we definitely have a Soul group and/or "past life" type connection going on, which helps in this specific case.

I think my Libra Moon in your 12th would mean that you would tend to see me better/deeper than most, as remember, the 1st House energy has "been there, done that" recently, whereas the 12th House hasn't yet come into the 1st House energy strongly yet. Though it's a little different when they involve the same Sign.

But in Synastry, it should be noted that people feel the connections between Planets in especially same or opposite Signs, even without being in orb of aspect. For example, I always strongly notice Lasses with Mars in Leo, whether it's 1 degree to 29 degree. Similar goes for having Libra Moon and you having Libra ASC, Mars, Saturn, and Pluto. And double Moon-Mars same Sign connection--good lord.

For another example, I have either been with, or been strongly attracted to a fair amount of women with strong Aries, wherever in the 30 degrees their Planet was. The woman I fell in love with the summer before last (my partner and I have an open option being towards the poly end of the spectrum), has Aries Sun towards the end and cusping Taurus. One of the stronger, general attraction indications in astrology is Sun opposite Sign another's Moon (also Sun opposite ASC).

Btw, I think something we have in common, is that we both crave depth of connection, in connection with others, but maybe also while somewhat holding others at arm's length because it's been hard to find that in a secure, safe, trusting way with most people. But if you could find it with another, you would allow yourself to fully merge with them, and that's ultimately what you want/desire/crave while being somewhat fearful of that part of self.
