Me and my bf got into a really bad fight with raised voices and my own cats (7 of them who sadly have seen fights like this or worse before) and 5 foster cats ran and hid.

I just want to know if they'll be okay especially the foster cat's as this is the first time we fought in front of them.

I am working through my issues, even seeing a counselor now but it's an uphill battle and me and my bf clash from time to time

I hate how scared my cats look when we fight that violently or how they start to hide at the slightest raised voice with anger in it.

I I feel like a ****** person for not being able to ensure a harmonious home for them, for not being on top of my issues and for getting into violent fights.

Yes I know it takes two people or else the fights wouldn't be this bad but I hate my part in it and especially hate how it affects my cats

Question :
Can anyone please read for me and let me know how my cats and foster cats are doing/feeling?

Also your support and encouragement is very much appreciated as I feel really ****** and like a bad person right now

To be honest, if they hid, they were likely startled by the noise-but other than that unless you are physically hurt these cats- they aren't going to impacted by fights.
I've yet to hear about pets being emotionally abused from divorces, or domestic abuse in a household.
On top of that, your voice vibration compared to something that would scared them like thunder are no-where near the same loudness/vibration.
Cats domesticated humans- so if they aren't use to all of our voices by now-then they are hiding for fear of perhaps being kicked from past fights or something-but definitely not bc of voice.

I'm mean cats are pretty intelligent-and if anything they would definitely communicate with you if something is bothering them-rather than go hide.

Thanks so much for getting back to me on this.

No they just ran and hid inside the house. They're all fine now. I don't hit the cats but we do shout very loudly.

I guess I wanted a psychic reading for my pet to reassure me verbally that they're fine as I feel like a terribly parent for even putting them in this type of environment (as rare as it is).

I was hoping someone on LL was an animal communicator and could help me out.
