Looking at my transits horoscope it says: -171 opposition pluto sun: Problems with men or the father are quite possible at this time. Your passions may sap some of your vitality, and regular check-ups should be made because intense feelings and/or anger may affect your health.

And i feel this is so accurate but worries me how long this will go on for because i dont want to feel this way anymore.
Can anyone see this in my chart and see if things will get better?? And if things will improve in general and why i am feeling this way. Thank you

Yes, I see that your Sun is in Cancer @27~28 degrees? Transiting Pluto has been in sign of Capricorn, directly across your Sun. Pluto just turned retrograde. Being a slow-mover, it will turn direct again.

Pluto will continue to creep its way through closer degrees for you for the next few years. Pluto enters Aquarius mid-November 2024, but even then, it's still in influence for several years past 'that'. It's been riding your Sun for a while.. and still will. Find a way to get accustomed, more.

Since the theme is basically about 'power struggles', and if your Mom is okay and handling it and not physically in danger, then, basically, with Love, sort of take your 'own' self out of their marriage relationship (as far as defensiveness of her).
Detach just a little bit more ..

Allow self to Write what you would say, on paper. Analyze that-- applying it to 'self'. Find a women's support group, and talk with them-- Help other women.

When you posted, the sky transits had people feeling nervous and ~stranger than normal. Was a weird chaotic restless passage for that week. Things are heating up in the world. Some getting more violent...

{humor/story, I had attended catholic parochial schools for elementary school years. (1960s) The nuns in those times (generally!!) were really abusive mean-cruel women! If they had been caught on camera, they (in this day and age) would have been arrested! Saw one nun take an athletic popular boy, and throw him up against cinder-block wall, knocked his skull rendering him unconscious on the floor!!
I couldn't stand watching nuns attack vulnerable friends unfairly-- Saw one male classmate not used to being a 'target' really crashing down inside himself over repeated attacks (for NO reason, for MADE-UP reasons). She fabricated awful lies and would punish students for that.

I say that to you-- because I "understand" WANTING to Defend your mom from a dad who might be verbally berating her... I have a Defender's Spirit--- BUT, there's a LIMIT. A Boundary, okay?
Your mom has dealt with him for over 30 years, right?
Take the 'pressure OFF' your own self, pertaining to their relationship. Go to a woman's group and help TEACH other women, from YOUR experienced viewpoint with your mom and dad. .. With you being a non-relative, you'd be away from the drama-triangle, and you might 'feel' MORE satisfied with women listening to your advices, from 'experience.'

There's an astrologer that has your Sun Cancer, in 3rd House (near~same position as yours, within a couple degrees).

He belongs to a religious system, follower of krishna, and, has been a seminary trained christian. Likes philosophers like James Hillman. I liked it when he speaks mystically, of the planets. He's a Hellenistic astrologer, and shares loads of stories about history too.
Has training and has worked in mental health inpatient unit; so, I imagine he subconsciously understands the sky 'triggers' in people vulnerable and gives insight with that in mind when talking about transit energies.
Has yoga training, bhakti. In college was in English Lit and graduated with that degree?? {Hope I'm remembering these correctly.}
I add all that because all these things in his background pre-astrological studies (in my opinion) make him an extra 'able' astrologer. An astrologer's understanding of people, and various interesting background experiences, add color and dimension to the understanding of the sky. It's good to 'match' people to the astrologer they may have more resonance with.

Thought that for your own 'vibe' and connection, it might bring you added-insight to listen to someone experiencing Pluto on opp Sun Cancer in similar House placement.

It may be important for you to learn to pull-back a bit when feeling triggered. Breathe... There's a lot of sky activity in your Gemini sector of the chart. Gemini can be nervous and sometimes more anxious than other signs.

Thank you so much for your kind, thoughtful (and informative!) message! I am still new to all of this, and find it so fascinating how much the stars can affect us, and i think its amazing we can see whats coming, how it will affect us and how we can try to anticipate it.
Although its not good news to hear about pluto and how it will still be affecting me in a negative way for years to come

Last week was definitely a nervous week! I am feeling a little better yesterday and today, thank you , but am still feeling all sorts of feelings towards my dad which is confusing, but I do realise I need to step back and not get so involved even though it kills me to see my mum in this way. Luckily she´s talking to her therapist this week (I encouraged her to as she had taken a break), so that relaxes me a little.

I will check out the youtube channel you recommended and will let you know how I get on with it, it sounds very interesting and I´m sure will be helpful.

Careerwise (I have a business background) I´m definitely in the wrong field but not sure which direction to take, whether to continue in this repetitive, mundane but safe "accounting" job, or to give teaching a try (I have tried it before but not officially trained), or maybe go into something else entirely, I don´t know, its something I´m very confused about but definitely feel I should be working in something where I´m caring for people or helping people in some way, I´m not sure why.

I´m sorry about your mum and that you´ve been through something similar, it sucks! How did you deal with it

Sorry to hear you have been having negative encounters with your father as of late. You should know that this transit is not all bad and negative. It will start in an intense wave of emotions. Rage, self-criticism, lethargy, crisis at your career, etc. Usually you will experience a set of these and not just one. Because Pluto is here now to teach you as much as it can. Repeat to yourself every day "I am getting stronger and this too shall pass".

Soon you may notice that your relationship with men has changed drastically and they will take a major role in your life to help you out of your crisis and expect nothing or very little in return. You may meet a man of power and/or status who will help you out significantly in some way.

In your first post you asked how much it will last. It will run for a few good couple of years until you have experienced the majority of Pluto lessons. The times when Pluto in the sky goes retrograde, things might get complicated or move along slowly if you have been trying to implement some big change in your life.

Definitely do not get scared and try to make the best of the new situations coming into your life by giving out a little bit of control.
