Hi first time in this forum! Last night had a dream. I was with my dad, we were jumping off from a very tall building, firstly jumping off seperately and then in the air while flowing, he held me and he kept me close, and he had us land safely. While seeing this, I had a flashback in my dream, remembering this had happened before with my friend. I remembered the same thing, we jumped seperately, he then held me and then he put his first foot onto the ground to have us land and put the other foot under my feet to have me land safely.

Hi itisokay, welcome! 🌺
I understand the flashback in your dream was also part of the dream and not a "real" memory. These two person seem to be very significant in your life. You feel you can trust them. You are protected. Is there any recent event or issue in your life that makes you feel like you need protection?

Thank you for your response. Flashback was the part of the dream. Yes, I have been feeling socially unaccepted, dealing with loneliness, having social anxieties mostly.

That is very natural to seek protection and companionship while dealing with such feelings. Is your friend helpful in these matters? Do you have someone you can talk with about these feelings? It is hard to feel loneliness. Sometimes we just don't have the right company around us, and sometimes anxiety can worsen an otherwise potentially positive situation. It is most important that you remember to appreciate yourself and know your worth. It can help with social anxiety, and also to know that as unique as you may be, your human feelings are not so different than those of others. Everybody deals with fears at some level or other, and everyone wants to be accepted by others, sometimes at the expense of their own authenticity.
