So I dreamt last night of my soul mate...the man that I call my soul mate, but who is still "asleep" in my actual life. We communicate online and he doesn't seem really interested in me, but in my dream he was not only telling me that he loved me and sending me this cute "I love you messages", but also demanding that I pay some attention to him and give him some TLC. The next scene found us together in a place that looked like my grandmother's apartment. We were standing close to each other and shared a kiss. I felt extremely close to him when I awoke. Could this mean he really cares for me and just doesn't show it, or could this be my own wishful thinking?

These are precisely the two explanations I would pose as possibilities. Wish fulfillment, or your subconscious has picked up on nuances suggesting his true feelings.

Sorry I'm not much help here, what do you think ~~ or rather, what do you feel?

The truth is Ra, I thought I should play it a little cool so I'm backing off right now. I went to sleep really depressed last night, wishing that I would get a sign, even from his guardian angels that he cares. I cried myself to sleep. Then I had this dream and felt as if his guardians had heard me. I felt very close to him all day today. It's as if even though on a conscious level he doesn't express all that much to me, at a subconscious level he cares about me. But I am not sure what I feel. I so much want this to be his true feelings for me...maybe its my own wishful thinking? Oh, please help!!

I have had similar experiences. Check out my post in Soul Unions; it may depend on the circumstances as to why you are not together. In my case, I had to learn some lessons from that relationship.
