Hi Ra, you were wonderful last time, could you help me again? And anyone else wise ....

I dreamt that I was standing in my house looking through our patio doors onto my garden. The house is slightly dirty, I'm not happy about this. It's empty, there's just me. In the garden the lawnmower is over-turned as if abandoned. It's rusty. Only a part of the grass has been cut and the rest is overgrown. It's twilight and the weather is dull.

My sister is researching dreams and she says the lawnmower symbolises me, being made redudant (abandoned), and my career was only half-started - hence the garden not finished.

Can you add any more and do you feel she's right. I do feel utterly lost right now, looking for another job, and not getting anywhere.

Hi loulou

I would tend to agree with your sister. The dream suggests that you feel as if certain aspects of your life have gotten out of control, and/or need to be tended to and cared for. It also appears that the "mechanism" (lawnmower) for tending to this issue is abandoned/broken. I would guess that something like 'hope' is that mechanism. You feel alone, isolated (at least emotionally), and emotionally "dull". Perhaps you even feel like time is against you (twilight). Or maybe this cycle is approaching an end (twilight).

So this dream certainly reflects your current state of mind, as you described it.

But don't give up hope. I think this is also a part of the message. I think the dream is pointing this out so that you are aware of it, so you can change it, and then who knows what.

What do you think?

Thank you so much again Ra for your time and insight. I won't lose hope. I promise you.
