Ughhh, I've only slept two hours last night.

In my dream the place I work was on fire.
We were running towards the patio door, which my boss insists on keeping closed, even though it's sweltering in there.
The other day he locked it, and I told him he shouldn't do that, because its a fire hazard, that being the alternate exit.
He said he didn't care because he was sick of people who didn't pay the energy bills opening the door when he wants it shut.

Anyways, in my dream, I was going back into the smoke filled room to find the homeless man who lives in the back room.
I remember grabbing hold of someone I thought was him (this only by the feel of his frame, tall and skinny, I couldn't see him) and I was yelling, "Jack, Jack, we have to go!"
But the person was non-responsive, and when I tugged his arm, I pulled an empty jacket, which really freaked me out.

In the dream I felt like my boss and his wife set the fire on purpose. They are really behind (in real life) on their payments, and they talk all the time about how they wish they could plow it down, and start over with a new building down the road on some other land that they own.
The sense of evil was truly palpable in my dream, it was like they did not care who was in the building.
*you would think an arsonist would do this when nobody was there, at times when we were closed!

Anyway, then the dream flipped to me talking to my Scorpio ex, and saying I was pregnant.
We've had this conversation before in real life, only it was me saying it was a possibility.
He never took it very well.
In the dream he was really excited.
He wanted to pick me up right then and there to go to the store to get 8 *he specifically said the number 8* at home pregnancy tests.

What do you guys think? Work anxiety?? lol.

Your boss is restrictive and in-flexible.

The homeless man is you, and you feel "stuck" there.

You don't trust them. They don't seem like honest people.

Oh, that would be great! A new job! I am really getting tired of this one.

The homeless man does really exist! I told him about the dream, and it freaked him out a little bit, cause he does live in the back office. He said, "it's a prophecy, oh no!!"
I said, "whoa, hold on cowboy, it's probably just my ANXIETY from working for these weirdos!" He said, ok, but ordered a large pitcher of beer and was very quiet that day.
Guess I'll keep my dreams to myself or this forum!

And, yes, my boss is inflexible, and no, I don't trust them, so you have that right for sure!

Gypsee,

If you don't mind my saying, please get out of that place. Especially now that you say that they have planted audio recording devices. I get such unpleasant feelings from that place, all the information you've provided. You deserve so much better. Please.

Also to clarify, even though the homeless man exists, in your dream the homeless man was you. (When you tugged on his arm and pulled an empty jacket........)

Over the weekend the homeless man that lives where I work, developed a staff infection stemming from a splinter he didn't remove.

The infection is in his blood, and he may lose his arm.

In the dream, I was grabbing his jacket, by the arm, and he wasn't in it, just the empty arm of the jacket.

That's why when Nephs kept saying the homeless person was actually me (although I could see her point) it just didn't feel right.

Dreams are amazing, aren't they.

Please keep Jack in your prayers/good thoughts, whichever.
He's a wonderful person.
