Hello.
I know this may seem like a common thing to ask, but I really hope someone can at least shed some light into my dreams.

I dream often. Yet I randomly dream of this guy- who I don't really know, but I am aware of his name; with that said I've never interacted with him or anything like that so he's practically a stranger really. I've never met him in real life either, and he doesn't know who I am.

I don't remember if I've dreamed of him before, but this all started when I started looking up mysticism theories about soul mates and twin souls, and what-not (because they interest me). Thing is, that's fine if I dream of him once or twice. But I dream of him almost 2 or 3x every month now. I don't know why that is. The dreams are always so clear and detailed and feels so real, it's strange. There was even that one dream where he brushed shoulders with me, and that sensation stayed with me throughout the entire day.

It drives me insane that I dream about him like this. It's true that I may admire him, and to some degree, he is my ideal, but I don't like him or anything. I don't even think about him.

The other night, I dreamed about him and my ex-bf at the same night. I love(d) my ex-boyfriend, and he means more to me than the guy, but it's strange. I can never remember the dreams with my ex, yet I can completely remember, even weeks later, the dream with the guy in startling detail.

Could anyone please help me answer why this is? Thank you so much. It'd be greatly appreciated.

Hello fleetingsymphony;

I know just exactly what you mean, as it's happened to me too.

Years ago when I find started, just as you, looking into soul mates and such things, I would dream of a man (and I still do now and then) and all I could see of him was his hair and his smile.
It drive me bonkers, because I was thinking, "Is this my soulmate? And I can't even see his face? How will I ever find him, it would be like a needle in a haystack!" Big cosmic joke.

Eventually I did see his face, and he was a famous musician, who I will obviously never meet, and especially now since he's dead.

Anyway, little random things started happening after that.
Such as I started noticing features of others and immediately my mind would recall the dream on the beach, with the singer.

So, it's almost like a path, or a trail, and still I search.

For you, you actually know this person, so I am thinking why not try and get to know him better if the dream meant that much to you? I mean, what's the harm in trying?
It may just be a sign from the Universe, using your guy as a 'model' to get your attention and say, "hello! look for a guy with such and such trait (and it doesn't even have to be physical! starts getting confusing, doesn't it?) and you may find what you are seeking.
But, as I said, since he is a 'real' person in your life, you could take a chance to get to know him, and see what happens.
If nothing else, he may have a message for you, or teach you something or guide you in some way.

Hope this helps, it's a hard subject to define in words!!

Hi GypseeWind,

Thank you so much for answering. At least I know I'm not alone.

Well, that's the thing. I can't.
He's some musician, sort of famous, and that's simply improbable to meet him, much less get to know him as much as I'd like to; maybe through that, the dreams would stop.

Cosmic jokes and their irony.

I suppose maybe I'm just looking for answers. Either that, or for the dreams to stop. There was a point where I didn't dream for a while because I'd just tire myself out to the point of exhaustion, so for a while the dreams did stop. But they started coming back again, and it's really bothering me. Why him of all people? @_@
