These are not any dreams that I'm concerned about or anything. I just find them quite odd.
I have dreams pretty often too.

Last nights dream:
I was sitting on the ground with a young kitten in my lap. It was maybe 7 months old.
The next thing I know I'm sitting on a skateboard, legs out in front of me with the kitten sound asleep in my lap. I was traveling down the interstate propelling myself with my hands. LOL! There was a semi in the lane next to me. Forest green with bright orange wheels. It was racing me. The kitten woke up but just stayed calm and looked ahead.
Finally I reached my turn off which was this strip mall area. Next to the strip mall before the turn in were some large bushes. The kitten was desperate to get into the bushes and trying to claw and squirm like cats do.
I was afraid to have the kitten get away because it wasn't mine. I pinned it down to grab it on the back of the neck and woke up.

I have ALL kinds of dreams from over the years. That was last nights.

I often dream of travel, cats, and spiders for some reason. Or spider webs.

Nope :-) mid-late 30s

I had a lot of fighting dreams up until a few years ago. It was all the time but I don't fight.

I am male though, yes

Hey

In general: fighting (depending on your dream surrounding) always relates to feelings of strife. Either on the inside - in regards to the collective (like trying to fit in) - for acceptance etc.
Travel is common to indicate where you are (what new things you want to explore) on your life journey.
Animals relate to your own behaviour/instincts/emotions.

Dreams symbolism is personal. There are always the collective meanings of symbols that can be applied, but it comes down to how you feel about a symbol,
For example your skateboard. That's very specific & it depends on how you look at skating. Does it exhilarate you (or did you once have a terrible skating accident?). Extreme opposites, but I'm using this example to show how it can differ per person.
Same for spiders: scary? Or intrigued?

For this dream:
Where were you when you were sitting on the ground? What was the environment?
How did you feel in the dream?
Was it light or dark?
What season was it when you were outside?

In general I feel this dream is about your own (life) journey. You are making progress and doing it all on all strength (skateboard = means of moving forward. Making it move with your hands). Were you going fast? How did you feel while moving?

The kitten seems very significant. The animals are relating to your inner instincts. It's a kitten, so it's still rather new to you. I'm applying the kitten towards using and applying your intuition here in making life choices.
Cats are very feminine symbols, but you are male. So I feel the interpretation of cats and intuition (magical knowledge) would fit better (still a feminine quality btw). Have you been starting to listen more to your inner self (possibly for about 7 months ago)? Trusting more to where this guides you?
It's still sleeping though. So it might take something more to fully awake your inner knowledge. It's there, but on the background.

Is the interstate the same thing a neighbourhood? The surroundings give you insight on the theme/topic of your dream.
A semi is a car?? Even though you are moving on your own strength there's still a race. The colours of this car (orange & green) remind me of "fixed power". Who are you racing against? The common outlook people have on what succes is?

But then there's the turn: where are you headed? Following your gut feeling (cat) or will it be the fast car? (Succes as perceived by the collective).
The kitten wants to get away now. Into the bushes (back into the mystery/magic of the unknown).
Either way, the kitten is not yours yet. (You don't understand it's mystery yet/perhaps you are not listening enough to it).
How did you feel about that in your dream? What was your overall feeling of the dream?

Just some thoughts on the symbolism & the feel of your dream. I mostly feel it's about who you are on an inner (soul) level versus what you think of what society wants you to be/you should be like.

Ps: I asked if you were in your late teens because it has a feel of trying to gain full independence/living life how you want it to be/trying to break free.

Wow that's cool!
Thank you!

The fighting. Those dreams occurred mostly while I was married (6 years ago). WE didn't fight. Not like screaming and yelling fighting. But I think I always felt controlled. Usually, the dreams were of someone confronting me about something minor misunderstanding and I felt no option. One dream comes to mind. I remember every detail now that I did then, but that was years ago.

Skateboarding... hmmm... I've never done it. I ride a bicycle sometimes. You're right, I think it's more of just moving under my own power that's really important.

Spiders - I have one, a Tarantula. I feel the same about ALL spiders. I'm incredibly fascinated. I know about them but something always remains a mystery about them. I don't want to touch any of them though.

This dream:
I believe I was just sitting on the ground out on some school playground blacktop or parking lot with no one in it. It was a beautiful day. Sunny, warm. I remember the warmth from the ground felt really nice.

I just decided to take the kitten for a joy ride. It was pleasurable. It was a major motorway, two lane each way.
I see you are from Europe it says. You may call them Laurie Trucks. It came from behind along the other side and provoked me to race. The race was very back and forth and I thought it was fun.

The little outdoor mall was just in the middle of nowhere really. We have one near here actually. It's popular, but basically just a stop in the middle of the countryside. I'm not sure what I was going there for.
When the kitten tried to run away, I just felt extremely desperate. I knew if the kitten got away I may never catch it again. I think the ride scared it. It intended to go hide.

Hey Zander
You are welcome
Thanks for the extra info.

So you are outside all the time: relating to your outside.
choices & to your connection to the collective (school ground/motor way) You are also on the move. So it relates to the life journey/where you are in life right now. It's sunny & beautiful. All seems well.
A school ground or parking lot would make a difference to me, but generally you are contemplating where you are in life. (Even though content, something seems missing (cat) )

The skateboard and the cat feel like key symbols.
You don't actually skateboard. So what's your connection to it? How do you feel about it?
It's a "joy ride". Skating can be very liberating to I can imagine. Do you need more joy/freedom?
So how content are you with life currently? (The days tells us its content enough), but the side of the cat (feminine/intuitive/living from the inside out feels denied/there's a longing there to internalize it in your life). It's a race between two sides: the outward successful one - the one more from the self heart.
The mall is where we buy supplies: choose what we feel are the right tools for us in life.
So what choices are you making? Will you continue on the road as you did before? Or will you buy new supplies at the mall.

Those are my extra thoughts
Would that resonate with where you are in life now?

As for the tarantula: okay. See. Very different then when I dream of spiders. They always show up as fears. And the webs in my dream as something I'm stuck into/need to break free.

Wow, you're good!
It's making sense! I have tons of dreams though. I just had another the other night. I'd keep you busy 24/7!

This one, I'm not CERTAIN but it feels like it was a school playgroud, but empty.
Skating, I think it's neat to watch talented skaters. I do enjoy riding my bicycle though. (freedom? Self-sufficient?)
A female is missing from my life! HAHA! Seriously, no one specific. I'd just like to have that connection with someone and have a relationship, even if just a simple one. That could be the cat, no?

About spiders... in real life or a dream. If I had a spider on me I'd be dancing! Webs too I start swatting around like bees are after me.

Hi Zander,

I don't think the cat is referring to a woman missing from your life. In dreams I read all as aspects of yourself. So the cat would refer to something from within that you are longing for. To tune into the meaning more it may be helpful to think about how you see cats.
Well if it's going to be 24/7 you'll be happy to know I have paid dream analysis services
