In the beginning of my dream for what I can remember, I was looking up through the window at the new full moon. It was huge and a red ring around it started to form. Soon the aura of the moon became red, like blood. I called my sisters to see but they said the moon was fine, that it was red.
They left, and then the trouble began. This vampiric figure was telling me it would posses me and drain me of my life so he could take over my body.
I was scared and never went near the window again.
The next thing I knew I was heading home on the bus with a friend and the moon was beginning to rise, but this time it was a Crescent moon. It was still red to me so I asked my friend what color it was to her and she said white, and was I on some drug. That ****** me off.
So I showed her the moons light on my hands and my hands were red like the moon which made her look at me like there was something wrong with me.
When I got home I told my mom what was happening, finally. There was a crack on the wall of the bathroom with blood on it, while I was taking a shower, while my mom was in the bathroom listening to me tell her.
This deep mans voice said he'd come back next full moon to get me and I was so scared. I knew it was some sort of vampire from that point. Then I woke up...
I've never seen this man ever in my life. All I could remember of this man was his very angular jaw, dark clothes and sort of gray dark skin.

What could this dream be trying to tell me?

A lot of the symbols could be related to menstruation (moon phases, red, blood, emotions, shower/cleansing/releasing).

If this is not the case, then the dream could suggest that you are moving through some cycle or issue (full/crescent moon), perhaps emotional in nature (moon, red moonlight), which is draining you of energy (blood, vampire) and which you are trying to cleanse yourself of (shower).

Another possibility has to do with the balance between your feminine and masculine energies/aspects. There is a lot of feminine energy/symbology in this dream … the moon, your sisters, friend on bus, mother. It could be suggested that you are currently out of balance, and the only male symbol in the dream, the vampire, could represent your animus. The animus represents your masculine aspects, and in this case masculine aspects which have likely been ignored or unacknowledged. He may be threatening to possess you because you have ignored "him".
