I'm in a downtown area. A colleague asks me to get them a soda from a vending machine. The machine won't take my money, but instead spit out its own cash stores. I took it.Someone came over and and asked if I was stealing from the machine. I said no! After they left, I went want back. Later another person mentioned that it was an old machine and no one has used it in years. Then I realized the soda can just be taken from the top - free. Tasted watered down. IP: Logged |

Hello Nine  I'm not yet sure if this makes a difference, but was the money you received from the machine in change or bills? When asked if you were stealing, how did you feel? Were you being sincere or sneaky? Did you feel it was legitimate or did you feel guilty?

Hi, Ra.They were bills. They came out the same slot I tried to put mine. When asked if I was stealing, it gave me pause for sure. Not too long after I resumed the money taking as I felt if not me someone else. The trick was you had to put or attempt to put money into the machine to get money out. First I put a dollar, the machine would reject that dollar plus send its own money out. Then I tried again, once more the machine would reject my dollar and with it send out some more free cash. Are you feeling inadequate or low on energy?Are you feeling undervalued? Are you in a financial pinch? Do you feel like you need a little luck? Have you found a new source of energy? Thanks, Ra.Can't identify with any of those lines. I did receive mini raise that I couldn't make sense of. Often the raises cam roughly every six months, but this time it came a month after the last one. Just a few pennies, but it's still baffling. IP: Logged |
