A client of mine named "Chase" and I were meeting for the last time. I had intended to write him a goodbye letter, but somehow I had forgotten. Before I said anything about the letter though, he told me he didn't want a card or letter that "said a bunch of things I didn’t mean." He wasn't angry when he said it, just feeling insecure I think. He gave me a gift, which for some reason I left the room to open. In the box was a beautiful pair of reading glasses. The frames were very ornate and gold in color. He also gave me a check for $12,000. But the amount then changed to $23,000, and then $34,000. When I went back to the room, he was already gone. He left without saying goodbye. Then I was trying to call him to tell him that I couldn't accept the gifts because they were too expensive, but I couldn't get the call to go through. I was frustrated and my next client was there already and I was running late.Any thoughts? I don't think this dream has anything to do with this particular client at all. If anything, I think it may be a play on his name "Chase," but I'm not sure. IP: Logged |

Hello k8362  This dream looks like it should be very easy to figure out, but for some reason I just can't quite get my mind to work with it. Not yet, anyway. It will come. One thing I do notice is the difference between the sums … 11,000. Does this number mean anything to you? Does the number 11? 2? If not, then what is the number 11,000, or 11, or even 2, trying to tell you? So then, what does "chase" have to do with it? What are you chasing? Just some thoughts.  IP: Logged |

Please read it as an opinion:
I do agree on your opinion with the name “Chase”. Gold is associated with everlasting value or glory.
Numbers can symbolize characteristics:
One: Independence, self-respect, resolution, determination; intolerance, imagination, narrow-mindedness, degradation, stupidity.
Two: Calmness, sincerity, unselfishness, sociability, harmony; indecision, indifference, irresponsibility, stubbornness.
Three: Freedom, bravery, fun, enthusiasm, grandeur; listlessness, carried too far assurance, impatience, negligence.
Four: Loyalty, perseverance, practical disposition, honesty; clumsiness, slowness, conservativisms, lacking adaptability.
It is interesting that in your dream the last number is the beginning of the next number.

Thanks, Ra and GeminiKarat! I always love to hear what you guys think before I add in my thoughts. I like getting a fresh perspective first, and that's helped me several times to see my dreams in a completely different way.I think this dream may have something to do with a man I'm very interested in. I've had a lot of dreams that seem directly related to him. I also started going through a lot of change (difficult and overall positive) in my life since meeting and then separating from him. I tried reaching out to him several months ago but didn't get a response. I've been reluctant to reach out again because I don't want to "chase" him. And that's definitely been frustrating at times, which fits with the feeling in my dream. I think the glasses might be about how our separation triggered all of this positive change and growth in my life - how he has given me the gift of seeing things more clearly. I couldn't figure out what the numbers meant. I was thinking there was something meaningful about the amount increasing, but I hadn't noticed they were increasing by 11,000. Isn't 11 the symbol for soul mates? I just looked back at my dream journal and realized that I had this dream earlier this month on 8/11. I also had made a note that when I woke up from the dream my clock read 8:44, and after I recorded the dream I looked over and the clock read 8:55. Incidentally, my mom called me this morning and told me about a dream she had last night that we found money hidden under the floor boards in my house. I asked her how much money, and she just said "A LOT!" Should I pry up the floor boards and see? IP: Logged |

I just read up on the Chaldean numbers. Looked at 12, 23, 34, and 11. I saw things for each number that made sense and certainly seemed to fit my situation. I thought the paragraph for 11 seemed to fit best. I just remembered too that I had another dream about this guy last night, and in it he was telling me that he was getting married!
