The look in your eyes light up my soul
Age disappears leaving all that I know
And when the sun makes love to the moon
Venus turns red, Mars becomes blue
All this cosmic talk sets me alight
And When I am still, I am dancing inside
Touch my lips, paint it with stars
Hold my hand, this is ours
I’ve been told by heaven above
That this is... and never is enough
So let go... relax into me
This is the agony and ecstasy of
Love.

Dynamic Stillness,

"Venus turns red, Mars becomes blue"

You have a serious talent.
Have you been published yet?
When/Where can I get my copy?

Keep them coming!, my friend.
Your words are blessings undisguised.

Sincerely,
Jonathan Gull

Aha! I knew it! I thought Jonathan Gull was HSC. The poem I read in the other forum (can't remember which one now) sounded too familiar not to be you!

And Dyanamic... this is amazing! I loved this part:

Touch my lips, paint it with stars

Future,

Yeah, it sounded an awful lot like HSC.
But the other posts were purely me.

Firstly Jonathan, your words really mean a lot to me, I don’t ever take them for granted.
I feel safe knowing that you are out there...I know that might sound strange but these 'heart connections' transcend all that we think we know...and your sincerity is a quality that will bring and has brought many blessings to your life.

*********************************************

Future_Uncertain every time you word your feelings in this form we call poetry you paint my being with stars.

*********************************************
26 taurus if only you knew just how much your presence is needed…your heart sings a silent song that mine dreams for at night and longs for during the day. I wish you would give us more of you, what do I have to do?

********************************************
Bluemoon... Love is…
*********************************************

And to all of you, just to know that you are out there…. I’m lost for words.

Your,
Akash.

*I also wanted to say.. regarding your chart.
I do want to take a look, now that I have all the tools, but right now my heart is heavy and unfocused, so I will wait until it is renewed... ( it will again )
Sorry, and thank you!

My Dearest Pixelpixie...

To have my writings appreciated by you is a treasure beyond measure.

Please take all the time you need, just your offer is enough to keep me embraced in the sweetness of your being.

Khalil Gibran writes:

Your joy is your sorrow unmasked. And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears. And how else can it be? The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain. Is not the cup that holds your wine the very cup that was burned in the potter's oven? And is not the lute that soothes your spirit the very wood that was hollowed with knives? When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy. When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

Some of you say, "Joy is greater than sorrow," and others say, "Nay, sorrow is the greater."

But I say unto you, they are inseparable. Together they come, and when one sits alone with you at your board, remember that the other is asleep upon your bed.

Verily you are suspended like scales between your sorrow and your joy. Only when you are empty are you at standstill and balanced. When the treasure-keeper lifts you to weigh his gold and his silver, needs must your joy or your sorrow rise or fall.

I hope that you feel better soon and that this finds you with lightness of heart.

Akash.

Dynamic, you are something else. There is a lucky girl waiting out there for you....

I have my audience of one. That's all I ever want or need. I'd rather be pierced by the gaze of one, than blinded by the lights of many. I share myself with few. Maybe it's my Moon in the 8th house, but that's the way I like it. Not to say that I'll never share another poem here again....I probably will someday. For now, I like to see the beauty in all of you. Thank you for appreciating my 'silent song'. Not many do.

Youre truly a special soul and I look forward to reading more from your overflowing heart.

Dynamic Stillness,

I wouldn't mind checking out your chart, too, Akash, just to satisfy (I know, lol!) my own curiosity. I wouldn't be surprised if your Sun was conjunct my Jupiter (8° Leo); not that I'm entirely sure what that would entail, but I'm sure it would be a good thing. Of course, its in the 7th, so, we Could be "open enemies"; of course, practicing the not-exclusively-Christian precept of "love your enemies" would take care of itself, I suppose). Which reminds me... Maya took such a shine to you from the start, I was really sweating you (still am). She is so firey and full of honest to goodness passionate love (I'm still learning to "think" with my heart), I'm always terrified I'll lose her to someone like you; someone who shines like she does; not some over-analytical westerner like me, to whom she has to teach the ABC's of "how to feel". How's that for sincerity? No matter how many times she reassures me, I seem almost determined to manifest my greatest fears. If I could just get past that fear, just let myself feel it, and trust, I know there's such a deep reservoir of loving passion and rich connection there just waiting to break free. I have only to suspect it, dip my toe in it, and the poems practically write themselves.

I've reflected on that gibran quote a number of times myself. I'm skeptical of every mystical teaching - is it just me, or do they contradict each other as often as they corroborate? I'm digging Paramahansa Yogananda (the Science of Religion) at the moment, as he seems unwaveringly positive in his approach, as if the negative pole of matter were just an illusion, and the trick (yes, there is a trick!) is just to know yourself as spirit, and there are methods to accomplish that in a steadily vertical fashion. He is very encouraging. I know I need grounding, but, maybe 'cause I'm a Scorpio, if I'm not flying like an eagle, I'm just going underground. I've been over and over this stuff, read different stuff, for years, semi-seriously, but it always feels new to me. Maybe its time I put something, anything, into practice, but my Cappy rising is still trying to get a sure footing to make that first step (or is it a leap?); meanwhile I've got Rumi (or is it Sanai) in my ear, telling me "how can you jump, you have no foot"... Yes, I DO have indecisive Libra on the 9th house of spirituality.

Okay, please keep your trays in the upright, locked position.

Stephen

My Dear Jonathan,

Your kindness is overwhelming, do you know that you reading these words with all your feelings and emotions this-very-moment is a unique event in the history of the universe, it has never happened before and will never happen again! Such is the grace for what I call the source or the divine.
Just imagine that you live your entire life not being able to see the thing closest to you... your face.
Think about it we live our whole lives never really seeing our face, we see it in a mirror which is just a reflection but we go about our entire lives never really seeing our own face, yet everyone else has the blessing and the privilege of looking at your face.

Truth is neither an achievement nor an accomplishment, please remember that.

You are right when you say that these teachings contradict each other and they do so only to tell you that truth cannot be captured.

All the wonderful philosophies and teachings are simply fingers pointing to the moon, because we are eager to have an explanation for everything we mistaken the finger for the moon.

Truth needs no explanation it very simply is...and has to be your very own.

I would love to continue but am not sure if this is the right place...You don't need anything, just as the eye cannot see itself so you are what you seek, but a description of something is never the actual thing and so consider your western analytical mind a blessing!

Prior to my current relationship I went out with a girl for 4 years and for 4 years I feared loosing her...then when I did I wondered why I did not give all that energy to celebrating the times I had with her instead.

We keep our fears alive, your fear about loosing Maya-V only exists in your head, let us love what we have instead of what we might loose.

Please find it in your heart to forgive me if I have over-stepped any boundaries during this post.

If you ever want to keep in touch a little more and share you can e-mail me at

OneHeart
Akash.

My Leoelf...

It’s a beautiful night, and as I was walking home I became thankful for the silence that makes all sounds possible...I looked up at the sky as I usually do and interestingly enough I was thinking about what it is that 'special' means.... We feel special only because we know what it is like to be ordinary...therefore we recognise 'special-ness' out of our 'ordinariness' How funny then that being special is dependant on us being ordinary for if we were not ordinary how would be know what it is to be special?

I am reminded of a story about a Sufi monk who walked into a lounge and started talking about how perfect everything in life is…. just as he was about to continue an old hunched back man stood up and said, Life is not perfect! Look at me, just look at me I am the proof! How can you say that life is perfect, look at me how hunched I am.

The Sufi master replied, yes but you are the most perfect hunchback I have ever seen!!!

So inside us all there is an extraordinary ordinary special-ness, which is not dependant on people or circumstances.
This is who you are and this is whom I bow before.

All my love to you,

D.S
