Would any one happen to know if a THOTH deck can be used to talk to ghost ?

I'd say that the Tarot is NOT intended for use as an otherworldly telephone connection.

I'd also advise agains the use of a Ouija board or Spirit board, as one of my guides has called them, "low energy toys".

Your friends might try a direct communication, with appropriate prayer and so forth, or perhaps they should find a medium to come in and have a peek.

Playing with ghosties and astral entities isn't best left to the untrained.

Not to be too overdramatic, but I have read of instances where the untrained have become obsessed or possessed by playing with things they ought not.

After you feel that ALL spirits are cleared out, then thank the Guardians and The Goddess for their help and protection and bid them farewell in peace,love and safety. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT attempt to communicate with the spirits in anyway, other than the afore mentioned. You could get into serious trouble trying to communicate with them!!!

After this little ceremony is over, sprinkle sea salt at all your door steps for protection. Then sprinkle tobacco in your yard as thanks to the Goddess and the Guardians.

The only time I ever did it was in the morning, by myself, white candle, and my usual preparatory prayer/thingy I always say before I do a reading or spellwork, etc. The atmosphere in the room was right. The entity had been plaguing my young daughter by making appearances when she least expected it, rummaging around in her closet at odd hours of the morning--I'd go in here room and she would be sound asleep, covers being tugged (this even happened to me). My daughter saw a young woman and a black dog (now, those of you into the occult know the significance of a black dog--but that's another story). Anyway, back to the reading. I set my guardians (I call them) and proceeded to ask the question--(now, this was years ago, so I don't remember everything exactly)I asked for the presence in the house to tell me what it wanted, why it was there. I proceeded to lay the cards which were either all court cards and major arcana--every one was reversed. There was the representation of an older man, set in his ways--a drunkard--a wife/child beater, something like that--oppressing a younger woman/girl. The story unfolded to reveal a young man/boy --love ensued-- a child was produced by whom? the old man/girl? young man/girl? the tower and the last card was the reversed Star. I had a sickened feeling when I finished the read. I thanked the presence of the ancient ones and broke into heaving sobs that went on for about five minutes--I could not stop. I felt such dread when I saw the cards before me, I felt such unhappiness and grief. Anyway, I felt that I understood the sad soul who was particularly attached to my young daughter--perhaps she has a young child taken from her. That was what I gathered. That's my story. The lady only appeared sporadically after that. She never bothered me, but she scared my daughter.
