I keep getting the 4 of swords. I know it could be illness or rest. when i first started getting it a lot i ended up in the hospital with pneunomia.
Now that i am getting it again I dont think it has the same meaning. I found another meaning that i think applies it is a rest period, but it also says it might mean taking up the sword again for battle. any input

4 of Swords can also be a card of deep contemplation...figuring out where you really are and what you really want before you move forward again.

It can also mean that time when after a loss or break up you enter a period of inertia.
I time when you really don't want to move in any direction almost a semi coma.
Depending on the cards around it, it can also mean the end of that time, a reawakening. just a slow coming back to life and health.
