it is good feng shui to have a green object, such as a plant or rug, between your stove and sink, if they are opposite each other. this will negate confrontational energy in your home.

I know that some advocates of feng shui believe that certain placements of mirrors help with dispelling negative or "evil" entities. My hubby has one that is supposed to be placed on a windowsill to be effective and, in a story I related in a thread called "Very Strange", it was knocked off of the sill when we experienced some otherworldly antics during a tarot reading. ------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

I have a stove and sink opposite and just last week I put a green mat infront of the sink so our feet don't get so sore. The mat is not solely green does this matter and where it is situated is this okay.IP: Logged |

I have a book called "move your stuff, change your life". You can probably get it at the library too. There is a website for it called fengshuipalace.com that is packed with information, and you can subscribe to a newsletter there to get free tips. I loved the book, it was candidly written, realistic, and funny. IP: Logged |

I love the book. I read it in one day. It's not the kind of book that you read once and forget about or let it get dusty on the shelf. I look at it often. IP: Logged |
