Hi everyone, I am just curious to know, how the astrology effects your relations with your family members?
Are there harmonic aspects between you and your parents/sibs/children?
I know in my family everyone are VERY tipical to their sun signs, so it's like an astrology lesson to view us! 
My father has a libra sun and rising, and I'm an Aqua sun, libra rising and aqua moon, so we do get along very well, communicate with each other and most of the times have similar point of view.
On the other hand, my mom is a capricon (like hell she is!), and the communication between us is like in "Capricorn-Aquarius" chapter in Linda's book... What about you guys?

MY father and I get on.He is Leo and I am Libra.
My mother and I get on well.She is Aquarius.
My sister and I don't get on well like we use to be.She is Taurus.

There are many libras in my life (best friend, two x boyfriends, father)

I've got a bunch of Toreans in my life. They kinda keep me grounded. I have a tendency to float high above the clouds.Mom/Scorp (step)Dad/Cancer. Mom and I struggle. Dad and I get along very well. From what I understand Cancer and Libra aren't very compatable... maybe we get along because my Moon is Cancer? Maternal grandparents are Cappy and Virgo. Well I am an Aries.My father is a Cancer.
My brother is a Cancer.
My husband is a Cancer.
My mother is a Capricorn.
My son is a Pisces with Aries rising. LOL
Well my father and I have had a rocky relationship but it's okay now that we're 3000 miles apart. I get along quite well with my brother now that he's 25 and not an annoying brat! My mum is my best friend and we talk nearly every day. My husband sometimes drive me nuts but whose doesn't?! ------------------

hey aqua - great question! i think family astrology is fascinating, too. i come from a muddy family myself
i'm a cappie and my mom's an aquarian - reverso of yours. we get along really well, though she's a major worrier and that sometimes cracks me up. my dad and i - also a cappie - are more like peers than father-daughter. my sister is a cancer - she's dating a capricorn who has the same birthday as my ex  - he was a capricorn libra rising, and my husband is a libra capricorn rising
my brother is a pisces and a bit aloof from the family (always been somewhat in his own pisces universe) but we get on well, too.
both my grandmothers are scorpios, so it's a bit of a matriarchy around here - fine by me! my grandfathers are a cappie and a virgo - they just let the ladies do their thing!IP: Logged |

I AM A DOUBLE SAG WITH LIBRA RISING, MY MOM AND AND DAD WERE/ARE BOTH AQUARIANS, MY MOM HAD A LIBRA MOON AND SAG RISING, BOTH MY SISTERS ARE NOVEMBER SAGGITARIANS, MY BROTHERS ARE ALL THREE EARTH SIGNS, AND I HAVE A SAGGITARIAN SON WITH AN AQUARIAN MOON AND GEMINII RISING. I noticed something about my family's charts. My mother, brother, and I all have Venus on the cusp of our sixth house. My mom and I, venus in Gemini. And my brother's in Capricorn. All on our 6th cusp. Thought it was interesting. IP: Logged |

Okay guys.....would you like to hear about the "mud family?"(three generations of water and earth...) It's my family and here are the details... MOM - Virgo(earth)
DAD - Cancer (water) (They have four children
Two water - Two earth)
Me - Capricorn/earth
Sister Kathy - Scorpio/water
Sister Pam - Taurus/earth
Brother Tim - Cancer/water Next generation coming up...... MY THREE CHILDREN son - cancer/water
Son - Virgo/earth
Son - Virgo/earth KATHY'S FOUR CHILDREN daughter - Taurus/earth
son - Scorpio/water
Son - Virgo/earth
son - Cancer/water PAM'S THREE CHILDREN daughter- Capricorn/earth

daughter- Scorpio/water TIM HAS NO CHILDREN This three generation family consists of l6 people...8 males....8 females....

I don't know what its called but I call it Astrological DNA. Traits (planets, signs and aspects) that we inherit from our parents and pass on to our children (just like genes)
my mother, my son and I all have the south node conjunct the nadir in Aries.
I have strong Capricorn/Taures from my mother
and strong Sag/Aries from my father
In terms of family relationships there will of course be binding Saturn ties. So some strictness or responsibility. Ties to the familyIP: Logged |

My husband is a Piscean, my mother is a Virgo and both of them drive me nuts, lol. My father is a Taurus and we get a long pretty well.... His wife isn't much older than I am (7 years) and she's a Libra and we get along really great. In fact he feels left out with the two of us. My grandma and grandpa are Aquarius and Cancer respectively. Although I'm very close to my grandmother I think she may well have the wrong birthdate because her personality strikes me as being very overly emotional and dramatic, like a Piscean... At the very least, I'm sure her chart isn't that of a typical Aquarian... the only Aquarian trait she has is her open-mindedness. For someone of her time, she has always been very avant garde. My mother is a very typical Virgo with a flair for the arts (lots of planets in Leo). She is a critical perfectionist in everything she does.
