Hi all!Been wanting too discuss this for some time, but, as usual, just havn't been able to put it into words.
Taking from Tolkein's "Middle Earth" could it be possible? Perhaps was there once a place other than what we know about the millena-old place we now call earth?
The late husband certainly believed in Tolkein, actually thought the author had experienced such or atleast been passed down in his family, verbally, and shared.
We speak of creatures we just dont know of: chupacabras, Yeti, Lake Monsters are the common urban legends we all know of.
Bun consider faries, leprechaun, dwarvs, elves, pukwedgies, etc...
Could these be throw backs from a time way, way long ago, a time likened to Tolkein's Middle Earth?
There is so much out there we dont know!
One evening several years ago, my youngest and I were driving the 4wd back in a large parcel of land that was being cleared and prepared for commerce.
We did this often, exploring old abandoned ranches, collecting trinkets from Texas days past.
This one evening, we were driving through a "sendera" a kind of clearing in the brush country. Approximately 1/4 mile down all of a sudden there was this animal what went loping infront of us. No animal we had ever seen before. It's back legs were higher than its front, it had an elongated head, on a short neck, short ears. Too big and graceful for a wild hog, definately not a deer, it loped like a horse, but too small and virtually no neck. I would guess approximately 200 lbs.
Had we both not seen it at the same time we would have not believed one another.
It was dusk, but still clear sight.
To this day, we still shake our heads. My mother encourages me to draw a pic of it and present it to a local Yeti society.
A few years later, there was a Yeti sighting close to the place we saw our strange thing.
Any experiences?
Could it be really, possible that atleast some of these strange "creatures" are leftovers from a time long, long ago when they were commonplace?
Food for thought, anyway!
Thanks for reading~
