I just wanted to introduce myself to the boards. I'm Deb, I'm 24. I like long walks on the beach and strawberries dipped in chocolate.. I like saying really cheesy things, too. Anyway, I have been into astrology since I was about 10. My sister bought me this necklace that said Libra on it, and it had a little stone. I thought it was amazing that everyone has their own sign. Getting older, I dug deeper and found out how unique we all really are. I'm here mostly to learn from the amazing people here. I'm nowhere near as knowledgable about astrology as I'd like to be. Hi Deb!How very Libra of you to enjoy decadent food, and romance  Welcome to Lindaland! We are all still students of astrology, no matter how long we've been "into" it, and I also got into studying astrology at age 10, mainly because I had a crush on a mesmerizing Scorpio boy   and lite,

Scorpio boys have always mesmerized me too, Kat. I don't know how they do it. Maybe because I have venus Scorpio? They're so beautiful and intense. How'd it end up going with that Scorpio boy? IP: Logged |

I have Pluto and Saturn in Scorpio, maybe that is why they draw me in too...
Nothing really happened with that Scorpio, but he still is on my FB friend list, and I've gone to see his band (in every incarnation) play many times over the past 16 years. He was my defender when other kids harassed and taunted me, and I admire him from afar, although I did discover we share a fondness for Yoga (courtesy of FB). I was never bold enough to confess my feelings face to face, but I am OK with that. Caring about him brought me through tough spaces in middle school cause I knew that I had a noble person who had defended me, and that meant a lot. Some day perhaps I'll tell him how much it meant, and when that day comes, I'll grin broadly with gratitude and perspective. P.S. On a side note, he *did* ask me to draw a portrait of his brother Mark back in high school, as I was known as the girl who drew people. His brother had passed away the year prior, and they were extremely close, and so it meant a lot that he asked me to do it. When the portrait was done, many who knew his brother were stunned at how well I had captured his essence. I gave the portrait to the Scorpio, and that was that. I would also love to ask one day if he still has it, as I suspect he would have kept it. IP: Logged |
