I was reading in Linda Goodmans sun signs about scorpio (i love to read about myself, leo moon, lol) and it said that 95% of the time, within a year before or after scorpio is born someone in the family passes on to the next world and within a year before or after a scorpio passes, a baby is born in the family.

For me it was my grandfather, i was almost a year old when it happened. And when my sister was pregnant with her scorpio daughter, my nieces grandmother passed.

So, any other scorpios out there that had a family member pass on? Or have a scorpio relative or friend that this happened to?

I wanna know!! lol

my grandson's grandfather (not my hubby) died at almost exactly the time that grandson was conceived. grandson is late scorp. grandad was late libra. remember what linda said about how we move ahead signs with reincarnations? for awhile we thought he must be his grandad...however i suspect he was actually his greatgrandma, my mom, who was an aries with late scorp rising. grandson is late scorp with aries rising. taurus moon just like my mom, and born like her in the year of the horse...exactly one uranus cycle after her birth.

wow katatonic..you know i didnt think you were old enough to be a grandmother. i mean from the posts i'v read from you make you sound like a woman in her mid 20's instead of maybe mid to late 40's, maybe older.

but that is interesting, maybe hes neither, maybe both, but if i'v learned nothing else from this site i did learn that people tend to stay with the same people they have known from life to life

Sounds like we scopio are devils.

Well my father died when I was twelve years old.
A good friend, and another ex 'fling.
And here is a very creapy story. At university I liked one guy. He had a girlfriend and had no interest in me.
One night as we allwent out to a party. Some other guy was interested in me,buth I said no. I explaind I liked
that unavalble guy. He gave me a crazy answer. You know what I do if I like someone and that persone
doesn't love me back. I go to a graveyard and find a stone with that persons name on it. And
think of that person as if he/she was dead. Strange story!!! Well, you wouldn't believe what happend a year later,
That guy I liked died. It freaked me out.
I've read somewhere that Basic Instinct I is scorpio movie. They
didn't say why. My conclusion is the psychological mind games,sex and dead in the movie.

I never noticed this to be true....it's just a spin on pluto with its death theme. All the scorps I know, no one died right before or after they were born -- within a year or two either way.

I am a scorpio and the year after I was born my grandfather died and when my scorpio grandmother died my nephew was born the next year a scorpio. That is very true in my family. When I die a scorpio, a scorpio will be born into our family and when my nephew dies another scorpio will replace him.

When my son was born, his paternal Scorpio Great Great uncle died just a little over 3 months later.
My son a Leo, is named after the great great uncle's father, who is his my son's paternal Great Great Grandfather.
I do not know if this is relevant, but my son's maternal Great Grandmother, a Leo, died a few months after he was born.
In fact the last letter she wrote to me telling me what a beautiful little great grandson he is, and returning the pictures I sent her of him, because she said it was her "time" soon.
She died before the letter reached me.
So, "I have seen this phenomenon occur with Leos too.
Additionally, the day before my Leo son was born, his paternal Leo Great Grandfather said, so, are you coming to my birthday party or having my grandson? I laughed and said, he will be here on your birthday! And the next day, he was born! Then before the next birthdays, the Leo great grandfather died.

Six weeks after the birth of my Scorpio daughter my grandmother passed away. I lived with her in my teen years and I adored her.

My grandmothers Chiron conjuncts my daughters North Node.

It's all a coincidence. In fact my friend is having a Scorpio baby I wouldn't want her to get on here and read this bs and worry about it. I'm a cancerian and my grandmothers mum passed away 6 months after my birth. This is ridiculous. Everybody will die and usually it's grandparents because they are old. Not because a Scorpio was born into the family!!

well belgz you dont have to be a believer and sure, everyone dies eventually, but scorpios are the "guardians," so to say, of life and death. it might just be pure coincidence and it might not be, but as far as i know, no one died when my brother, sister, mom, dad, or nephew was born. i'm not asking you to be a believer nor am i trying to make you believe, just open your mind that it could be possible just like earthlings arnt the only life in the extremely vast universe

My mind is open to all possibilities and I have a great imagination but that's beyond anything realistic.

We have no scorpios in my family so I guess noone will die?

People are born and the elderly pass away. That is normal but to say that or pretend a Scorpio is that sacred that it takes a life when one is born is a joke. I'm laughing.. Seriously!

A lot of Linda's ideas are hard to believe and a lot of what she has to say is so... um... dead on that it dispels all doubt. I think it is an excellent idea to ask people here how Linda's ideas have show to be true in their lives, and how other ideas have still left them skeptical, etc. This is an excellent thread. Perfect for LindaLand. ♥

My Scorpio friend lost his mother when he was a teenager... and my grandmother's mother killed my grandmother's father (great grandfather) with an ax because he was messing with the children (and possibly my grandmother though she denies it) in a molestation sort of way. My great-grandmother then went to the insane asylum. My Grandmother is a Scorpio. There is definitely a theme of death. The friend of mine who I wrote the poem about ("Green"), and the other mysterious happenings I wrote about in Soul Unions earlier this year was also a Scorpio.

The death theme rings true and I firmly believe in reincarnation, so Linda's theory could have something to it. She's brilliant and she obviously believed it for a reason.
