I'm interested to see what may indicate possible pregnancy within a solar return. From what I can gather there are 5th house placements/planets and jupiter connecting to the 5th house in the SR some way that may indicate this.I am not thinking of getting pregnant myself (seeing as I am not seeing anyone at the moment) but I had an interesting consultation with a psychic who was very convinced that I would fall pregnant this year, and when it would happen. I looked up my SR for 2010/2011 and was very surprised to see my natal 5th ruler (Mercury) in the SR is conjunct SRVenus AND SRJupiter which is also conjunct my natal Mercury as well all within 3 degrees. The 5th house in the SR itself has only NN and Pluto in it. The Solar Return NN is conjunct my natal 11th house cusp and the Solar Return SN is conjucnt my natal 5th house cusp.
SR Mars is also conjunct my natal Mercury within 3 degrees and SR Jupiter-Venus-Mercury within 5-6 degrees.
I also have an exact Sun-Moon trine in the SR. (house 9 and 2 respectively) I'm not planning on, but I was just curious if any of you had these sorts of indications in their SRs at the time of conception. Cheers IP: Logged |

Can you post your solar return chart with natal and houses?Pregnancy is shown along with the 4th and 5th houses. 4th conceiving and 5th pregnancy. North node and pluto in 5th also shows a dramatic change related to 5th house issues ------------------

OK i hope this helps:When i conceived i had these aspects: 1st child:
SR NN/AC in N 4th
N DC in SR 4th 2nd child:
nothing except SR vertex in N 4th 3rd child:
N IC in SR 4th

Lara, Where were the 4th and 5th rulers of your solar return chart? Usually they are placed in 4th,5th or 1st of the solar return chart. Or the natal 4th and 5th rulers are conjunct the natal chart planets. IP: Logged |

OK1st: SR 4th ruler in SR 7th cj venus ~ SR 5th ruler in SR 8th
2nd: SR 4th ruler in SR 5th ~ SR 5th ruler in SR 4th cj N AC
3rd: SR 4th in SR 11th ~ SR 5th in SR 12th (SR 4th also ruler of AC) IP: Logged |

I feel like a bit of a twat now lol. I just realised I gave the aspects from my 2011 SR not my 2010 one. However the 2011 SR would be applicable to the year the child hyperthetically would be BORN. (Which could indicate all the 5th house connections)I'll put up both anyhow 2010 This would be the conception year:
2011 This would be the birth year:
This is of course according to the dates I was given.

Transit jupiter will also be cnj mercury your 5th house ruler. That year the SR 4th house ruler is in 5th. But I don't think you will conceive the first year the second chart looks more likely when you will conceive.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the info Lara!I didn't have much of a look at the 2010 chart before I posted it but SR AC is conjunct natal IC, natal 4th house ruler (Venus) in the SR is conjunct my natal 5th. Natal 5th House ruler and SR 5th house ruler are both Mercury. Mercury is conjucnt within 4 degrees in the SR and natal. SR IC is also in Leo (5th house natural ruler). The 2011 one is even more complex. According to the dates Nevanka gave me I would still be pregnant when the SR 2011 happened. haha well considering I am not in a relationship, and wouldn't consider having a child in a non-LT relationship, then it will be interesting to see how the year pans out. She said that I should distract myself (which I am) and things will happen as they are supposed to but I couldn't help taking a peek at my solar return anyway lol 2011 is looking pretty good though! So Belgz, what do you think birth is indicated by? You say conception 4th house ruler, pregnancy 5th house ruler... does that cover birth as well?

I have a stellium in my SR that happens soon and I do not want a baby. Ruler of SR 5th is uranus and is completely unaspected in the 5th 6th too, making it stronger. For me, it may just mean I will meet someone or get really creative, because I've decided I never want children. IP: Logged |

The Solar return chart wil most likely show the year you conceive rather than the year you will give birth. Solar arcs and other progressions usually indicate a more accurate time whether it will be born in the same year.Usually which is more times than most there will be an emphasis on the 5th house. EG: SR ascendant will be in the 5th house or even the 4th house. Natal 5th and 4th rulers may be conjunct natal to SR. SR 5th will be in 5th or 4th
Sr 4th will be in 5th or 4th IF only one of the rules apply eg: only the 5th house ruler is in the 4th but the 4th house ruler is in the 1st then that also indicates pregnancy also. Its like 5th has come to you (First house) I dont know if that makes sense. But i will post some SR charts of my friends in the year they conceived and you will understand the pattern. Keeping in mind pluto means change and is very significant in the house is falls into especially with NN.

hmmm, so your SR chart is a lot like your natal as far as angles go in preg. yrs.? I had that and didn't become pregnant.My SR 5th house is on my natal NN. So 5th house activities should be very important fot me this year. My NN is in the 11th of groups, friends, hopes and wishes. IP: Logged |

I recently looked at the SR chart when I got pregnant and I had:
vertex conjunct venus
mars trine sun
uranus conjunct mercury/venus
neptune conjunct venus
lilith conjunct south node
saturn conjunct sun
I'm sure it's different for everyone, but I think it has to do with karma and spiritual growth. I never planned on getting pregnant, but it was the best thing that ever happend to me. It was a huge wake up call and I had to grow up really quick for the sake of my child. Also, I learned about who I really am. Family and friends told me to abort. I couldn't do it. Now, I have a great kid in my life that has taught me many things. It's a huge responsibility with lots of guilt, but I love him with all my heart and soul. He has expanded my soul in every way. I learned to love unconditionally. What a blessing a child is!IP: Logged |

Thanks for taking a look and explanations/examples! I guess a lot depends on aspects within the SR chart itself with not as much emphasis on how it connects to the natal. My natal vertex is at 2.01 Cancer I don't know if SR vertexes are taken into account but 2010 vertex is at 10.07 Capricorn and 2011 vertex is at 6.16 Pisces 2012 is interesting because SR 5th ruler is in SR 4th and SR 4th ruler is in SR 5th. SR chart ruler is conjunct the Sun in 6th. Maybe it's a second one! (getting ahead of myself hehehe) or maybe marriage or some thing. SR Venus is in SR 7th that year too. IP: Logged |

im confused again about dates..?for example.if i wnat to see this year΄s events,then i still put the 2009 date,cause if i was born in 30th august,then.if in astro,i put 2009,it will show SR from august 2009 till august 2010,right? or am I confusing all this? IP: Logged |

Just another question ...... How does having a child show in a dad's chart?! Would they have a conception year and a birth year as well? Obviously they wouldn't have a 'pregnancy' year?IP: Logged |

Mscandeshwell might depend on the dates we were born?as you were born in May,then if you put 2010,it will already show the influence between may 2010-till may 2011,right? but as i was born only in august,then if i΄ll put 2010 in astro,it would only show the influences only begining in august 2010,right? So..if i want to see my SR for the majority of this 2010 year,then i should put the 2009 date,and not the 2010. i guess it is this way we do these things..? IP: Logged |
