How does it play out? Will the Chiron person be hurt by how the mercury person thinks/says or will the mercury person be hurt? IP: Logged |

My aries Chiron is exactly conjunct someone's Mercury. All I can say is that I am deeply affected by what he says and his way of self-expression (even his voice). It is not always pleasant. But our communication is very sparkling and is flowing very naturally... never boring. But my Pluto opposes his Mercury as well... so I dont know what has more impact here... Chiron or Pluto. We have deep conversations and open up to each other even though we dont see often.IP: Logged |

I have this in synastry with a dude. I'm Chiron. Honestly he probably hurts me way more than I hurt him. Very critical - I'm not enough this, I'm too much of that.....then I lash out at him with a string of insults that pretty much go in one of his ears and out of the other. When I do it it isn't as bad as when he does it because his are genuine criticisms of every...single...thing...about me. Like a systematic laundry list of everything he THINKS I need to change. That's his opinion. He has every right to be wrong lmao. IP: Logged |

I have this too with a man. I am Chiron in Taurus and he is Mercury in Leo. He always tries to plant words in my mouth to steer direction of communication or he projects his own thoughts and feelings onto me so that I am completely cornered and can't say anything without being at "fault". Extremely exhausting!I do think it annoys him though that I am faster than him in terms of thinking so he retaliates to not lose his manhood. I have Mercury in 11H trine Uranus in 3H. IP: Logged |

Perhaps....I am also starting to believe the Pluto in Virgo gen is not for me...every single man I've met I have tried to control me and I resent it! I have Mars conj Asc in Virgo. Imma stick to my Pluto in Libra gen methinks. IP: Logged |

Resuscitating this thread...Experiencing this now with someone. My Mercury in Aries squaring his Chiron in Cancer, which is conjunct my ASC in Cancer. (My South Node in Cancer is nearby - and get this, his South Node in Leo is close to my Chiron in Leo, giving us DW Chiron-SN albeit with wide orbs.) Anyway I am trying not to trigger him. He brings out my compassion, he seems completely vulnerable and lacking confidence around me. Basically very intimidated by me when we talk. I worry about my Aries Mercury all the time because I know I can be very thoughtless and brutal with my words even when I think I'm toning it down lol In any case he seems extremely vulnerable when we talk and the few insights I've given seem to have made an impact. For example, I told him a habit of his was a sign of perfectionism and he looked at me like I had just stabbed him lol! But in a "how the F did you know that" way. And when I've shown him compassion he seems to have been extremely touched. He has natal Jupiter on his Chiron too, so my ASC is hitting them both. Oh, and there are definitely themes of mentoring - him mentoring me with creativity (my Chiron in Leo). He does it spontaneously, without me asking, though I really appreciate his help. IP: Logged |
