I'm doing some astrological research on a very important date in my childhood - my natal Chiron was being squared by transiting Pluto. It was a traumatic time for sure. I was also being hit by my first Saturn opposition, Uranus conjunct my natal Saturn, AND Mercury was transiting my Neptune so on top of all the changes, I was being completely misunderstood and deceived at the same time.Anyone have insight to how this transit manifests for them? ------------------ -Libra sun/Capricorn rising/Sagittarius moon- IP: Logged |

Considering conjunctions, oppositions, and squares are supposedly the transits of change, I almost considered not responding to this thread. There was only one traumatic event in my past and the orb was too wide at the time for Pluto's trine to Chiron to mean anything. It did make me curious when exactly that trine was within orb though and that made me think about one of my surgeries as a kid.A bit of context for how the trine could relate to my Chiron placement. The only thing I can think of for why I hated my brother so much as a kid was I hated that he was born. That sounds like an awful thing to say, but I theorize that my "wound" began after my brother was born and my parents didn't have so much time to pay attention to me. My brother was born while I was still lacking a nasal passage and I was having trouble breathing. Since my brother was newly born, he needed more attention. I think that my hatred formed before I knew enough English to consciously remember where the hatred first originated. It could have made me feel unimportant and powerless to do anything about it. I have Chiron in Leo. Provided my theory makes sense, the amount of time it took for someone to notice I had a problem could have made my wound "worse." So, the surgery on my nasal passage could have happened when Pluto was trine Chiron and it could connect to what originally damaged my self-esteem before the development of my mental illness. I continued to grow up feeling like I meant nothing and I wasn't important. Having severe Major Depression made it hard to realize that my mental illness was not the only cause of my self-esteem issues. I'm not sure what Pluto's opposition to Chiron is going to do. It could be relationship-related, because Pluto will also be square my Venus during its opposition to Chiron. I can't imagine my current relationship ending in a break-up that many years down the road. If it's going to end, I expect it to end before Pluto gets to touch my Venus. With that in mind, I know I immediately assume squares and oppositions bring nothing but pain, so maybe these transits won't necessarily be painful. IP: Logged |
