I was thinking about the Scorpio Men--hard to get? thread, and thinking that different sun signs have different things that attract them.

People get very condescending and snotty, insisting that attraction is all about the connection between two people, and that unless you're totally honest and straightforward and direct about it, you're being immature.

BUT, in real life, it's natural for humans and other animals to be titillated/intrigued/allured by some mixed signals, flirtation, game-playing, seduction, hard-to-get, etc. Different sun signs really respond to different elements of this, and what makes a Gemini weak in the knees may anger a Scorpio.

So, let's discuss attraction by the sun sign. In the earliest stages of flirtation, friendship, and/or getting to know each other...before they are part of a couple...what makes each Sun Sign intrigued, smitten, and dazzled?

Here are some I've found:

Gemini Man:
-likes a woman who seems very (very!)independent and sure of herself
-intrigued by someone unconventional
-not put off by a woman who approaches him/asks him out
-turned on by wit, banter, intellectual versatility

Leo Woman:
-Likes a confident, even cocky man
-Attracted to a man everyone else seems to want and to hold in high esteem
-Likes a man with the courage to spar flirtatiously with her
-Turned on by talent

Libra Man:
-Likes a very feminine looking woman who "dresses the part", with feminine hair and clothes
-Into over-the-top romance, like a sunsit picnic in a beautiful place, romantic trips, etc

Sag Man:
-Loves an adventurous woman
-Loves to be surprised by a woman, and to meet someone who can teach him new things
-Loves deep philosophical discussions
-Into someone natural, and anything to do with wilderness or nature

i'm a Sagittarius. i need my guy to lead me in the way he can take me out to a little Indiana Jones adventure every week (if everyday is asking too much). but sometimes i have to take HIM out and he can't chicken out.

but i don't like mr. muscles though. he needs to have brain but in areas like philosophy and anthropology (i hate math). and thanks to my Saturn i like guys who have old-fashioned taste. but even if above all is good, if he isn't creative in bed that makes me feel really depressed. if he gets surprised of what i do (except when i give surprise presents) i send him away to look for someone else. my partner should be my comrade. a little romantic things here and there in-between really turns me on. i think that's pretty sagittarian?

scorpio's like women who have depth and someone who is mysterious and haunting. they like dark hair/dark skin. but then again like they said in a previous post, scorpio men are very hard to get. if they are impressed by you they don't show it lol so its hard to tell. they are quite difficult in that arena.

ahaha, my scorpio ex did always say that he liked my mysteriousness. i don't know if he in particular is "hard to get", maybe that's why he isn't dating girls always, or is it just that girls don't find him cool enough to date?

a friend who is a Virgo is really into girls with big noses and likes kind of a not-so-noticeable girls. but if a girl is really caring and sweet, he seems to start liking her anyway.

Wow, how odd, Lucia, I can totally relate to the Leo woman's stuff...must be my 5th house sun! I'm totally turned on by talent, and that bantering style of flirtation
I also find somewhat cocky and confident men really sexy, probably because I like the challenge (must by the Aries moon, my Mars in the 1st too ) ... as long as they're not raging ego maniacs....

I like funny, laid back, generous, semi-motivated, open-minded, spontaneous, silly people. I like someone who is able to laugh at themselves and enjoy simple things such as icecream on a summer day, goofing around in the rain, or a carnival ride.

I can bare with complainers, brash, rude,close-minded, confronting and loud folks somtimes because of some of my close friends have these traits and it doesn't bother me that much, it kinda just grows on you.

Lucia- He'd need to be attractive (in the way that anyone has to be somewhat attractive). The thing I usually like the most, though, is charisma. If they're laughing, friendly, and touch me in some way to show their interest, I'll return it in kind.

The people who get closest, the fastest, are the ones that pay a lot of attention to me right away. They offer to take me out, ask questions, that sort of thing. I respond to touch the most, though. (Not dirty, just...touch. Taureans have skin hunger).
