looking at synastries involving Chiron + personal planets, I more and more tend to think that Magi astrology has nothing to do with happiness in love and 'happily ever after'... looking at how these aspects play out in real life ... painful revelations through love, yes, but there is nothing magical about the outcomeIP: Logged |

Peri, I've given up taking Magi astrology serious months ago. I do like their synastry reports though and I do like the planetary geometry stuff. Other than that, I don't buy their whole Chiron is the planet of love and Juno is the planet of sexuality ONLY nonsense. In all my significant synastries, Chiron was NOT a significant player but Juno always is. And wasn't Chiron discovered in the 1970's? And they are making these claims? Nah, I don't buy it.------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ And yes, i'm a guy! IP: Logged |

I don't buy it either. By Magi Astrology's rules, I wouldn't be able to get married to anyone in my age group. My Venus squares Chiron natally and Chiron opposes my Saturn and Uranus.IP: Logged |

Magi astrology is too fatalistic, I've always been sceptical about some of their interpretations. But one thing turned out right 2 weeks ago. This guy wanted to go out with me, we talked for a couple weeks and he seemed very serious, said he really cared about me and wanted something long term. Well to say the least I was skeptical because we did'nt have good synastry, not bad, just a lack of aspects and wide orbs. He kept calling so I went back and checked asteroids, sure enough we had venus conj juno double whammy, Both were 1 degree. There was no real emotional connection, feeling, ect. What can I say, this turned ou to be my 1st 1 night stand.IP: Logged |

I've always felt my Juno connections to be very emotional connections. I don't feel the Chiron connections.------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ And yes, i'm a guy! IP: Logged |

You all have obviously never experienced an exact Chiron conjunct Venus in synastry. : ) IP: Logged |

True, but I have experienced an exact sextile of my Venus on her Chiron. The effect was not special. That's not saying it wasn't for you though. For me however, Chiron does not play significantly in my synastries.------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ And yes, i'm a guy! well i am chiron sensitive but would never associate it with love, i've got juno on my neptune and yes it conjuncts my partner's sun, i would have to say it must depend on your natal chart and where chiron fits in? i had a friend who hated chiron, she used it like a swear word, IP: Logged |

My Chiron is at 8* Taurus and I don't think it touches any part of my chart except Sedna. I also experienced Her Venus trine my Chiron 3*; still no effect on me. EDIT: oh wait, my Asc trines my Chiron less than 2*. I forgot about that. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ And yes, i'm a guy! IP: Logged |

I'm wondering if you'd feel Chiron more if it's tied into your personal planets. I have an almost exact conjunction of it to my moon in my chart. In synastry, Chiron conjunct Venus kills me (as the Chiron person) - I've had the sextile and trine, and didn't really feel much. I had my Chiron conjunct someone's Venus and Mars, as well as their Sun...erm, HELLO. WELCOME TO HELL, YOU WANT FRIES WITH YOUR DEEP-FRIED HEART? ... but it was like I could feel everything he felt, and I could see through him all too clearly. I would never call it happily ever after (seriously, what world does that even exist in?) ...Magi's really fantastical in their interpretations, very over-the-top. IP: Logged |

what you all have to take into account is that IF the chiron/venus conjunct/trine/quincunx exact is ALSO square or opposing SATURN, NEPTUNE, URANUS or JUPITER then you have a CLASH and the venus/chiron linkage is not going to work Also, you have to check declinations AND helio charts/declinations for all of the above! I agree that if a planet or asteroid is not personal in your chart (ie-prominent on the angles or forming close major aspects to your personal planets)then you may not feel it much in synastry and sometimes not much by transit either. I've found this to be aspecially true with chiron and really slow moving planets like pluto and neptune. No one feels the planets equally or in the same way.IP: Logged |

Yeah, there's something about Magi that just puts me on DO NOT WANT. I hate how absolute they talk about everything, and I don't agree with what they think is gospel. IP: Logged |
