UPDATE:

I thought I'd give you guys an update. Despite not yet being able to find a new regular job, I've made contact with one of the biggest book publishers in the world who said they'd be happy to take a look at my manuscript. I'm not sure how it will pan out, or even if they'll even be interested, but I'm very delighted and grateful. The pace of my life seems to be speeding up and it's as scary as it is exciting.

My chart: http://www.astro.com/cgi/showgif.cgi?lang=e&gif=astro_24gw_01_me_200942.41276.17588.gif&res=100&va=&cid=3b4filefZqJVs-u1238160786

Best wishes,

Miss Mystic

-------------------------------------

In a previous post I announced that I'd been shortlisted for a book award. My book is still a word document and I'm currently seeking an agent. My confidence in my own writing goes from high and low, I really need to work on my self esteem.

I'd be very grateful if someone would be able to tell me if I stand any chance of being published in the future, if I have any upcoming transits that will support me in the next few years. And thanks again for your kind messsages of support.

Many thanks

Miss Mystic

Transit wise: I see Uranus very near your 9th house(publishing), which indicates unexpected traveling and publishing of somekind is possible. Next year, Saturn will be going into your 3rd house, which is the house of communications/writing. Saturn will reward you in the area of writing, and indicates a publication of some kind if youve been working on it over the years.

Natal wise, you have a very interesting chart. I see Mercury conj Uranus(many writers have this), usually indicates a brilliant mind, and very intuitive. Your chart tells me youre VERY creative person, you get flashes of insight/ideas/etc out of nowhere. In scorpio, I think you like to get to the bottom of things, you like to possibly write with depth. Maybe about life/death/suffering? Mercury square Jupiter, shows you are good at exaggerating, which helps with your writing. I see youre good at expressing emotional issues, and are in tuned to these expressions. People feel like they can relate to your work.
Your north node is your life purpose, your life path. Its in the 3rd house of writing. This tells me your path is in writing, becoming a writer. This strengthens your already strong chart. Pluto in the 3rd, shows a person who isnt into superficiality in communications. You want to unravel everything, you speak with authority. Pluto is an area of obsession...with it in the 3rd, you probably have always been into writing, reading, speaking, etc.

Overall, I think you have an amazing chart. I think you will be and are a great writer. Good luck!

Many thanks writesomething. I got some bad news today, after good news last week. My contract in my full-time job is coming to an end, so I've got three weeks to find a job in order to keep a roof over my head.
It's evil Uranus strikes again. Every time lie almost like clockwork when I have a Uranus square I lose my job in a shocking way. I feel sick at the moment. What is the universe trying to say to me?

What is squaring your uranus? I dont see Transiting Uranus squaring any of your main planets, and I dont see any transiting planets squaring your Uranus..so Im not sure what you mean.

I also notice Saturn is conj your natal North node. This is very significant. I think whatever happens this year will be significant in terms of the future, and very fated. I feel with this, you are laying down roots for your life now more than ever. I think losing your job could be because of Saturn in the 2nd, but I feel everything will work out in the end. How is Tpluto opposing your natal moon treating you?

I haven't felt pluto opp my moon. It does scare me more than any other transit and I know you guys say one shouldn't be frightened of astrology and transits, but I can't help it especially when I experience shocks.

I posted about Cosmobiological transits to your other post. It's all transits involving your midpoints. I think that they really reflect what's going on in your life right now. The ones that involve Saturn seem to especially be tough.
Transiting Saturn square your Asc/MC midpoint is the most significant because Asc/MC is the most personal midpoint because it is the combination of the 2 most personal factors.

Transiting Pluto oppose your Moon could be about emotional upheaval....mainly emotional world being transformed. The feelings could be more intense that could end up being obsessive and compulsive. It could also be involved in power struggles with others...especially women.

Looks like a writery chart. Nothing really standing out to report, but nothing I read conflicts with the idea of being a writer except perhaps mercury square jupiter. (rulers of opposites. but then, maybe you'll use the square instead of opposition to see the other side of each quarrel)

But I wouldn't say your jupter is badly placed for writing. at all, really. it's in your 12th house conjunct asc. so you'll write write on a deep level, likely, and it will eminate off you easily because it's conjunct your asc.
While also it's squaring much, but you will likely pull through with your moon trining them all.

interesting square between your saturn and uranus, which may make you want to do stuff in a ladder progressive way (virgo) but since you jupiter is trine uranus, it should probably dominate for writing, so that seems like you would write better, if you didn't try to? lol
it interesting, because your jupiter is square a bunch, but is trine uranus. uranus is square saturn, which is sextile that bunch, and sextile your moon which is trine them.

Well, anyway, good luck, and I think you would probably write good works, though I'm not sure how the publishing/publicity-getting will go. but since you will probably write good, you shouldn't worry about self esteem (it's probably only your virgo saturn nagging).

You sun is also conjunct Nadir, which is opposite Midheaven (aries) so I perhaps you'll have a job (midheaven rules work (capricorn))which is not.. maybe.. helpful toward you're true meaning in life. (sun)

So yeah, that's probably really confusing, I just sort of sprawlled out on that, but good luck anyway, I hope to find a book of yours!

BTW, what genre? you said it was a novel, right? Ok, maybe you didn't, but still, what is it about? I'm curious.

It's a children's story about the everyday trials and tribulations of family life. I want to be a children's author because I think I'll connect better with the kids than with adults.

If you give me your full birth name
and married name (if married) and any nicknames....
I will see if Lexigram wise your names reveal anything.
You can scramble the names or e-mail me.
Mine does....concerning writing. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/001891.html

My job loss is helping me to get out a lot of more emotions for my second novel, which I've finally decided a plot for. Here's the irony, two days ago I decided I'd write a story about a woman who loses her job, and now I'm my central character! At least I'll have a lot to say in my story lol!

that makes sense with saturn transit your north node. any struggles you go thru now are helping you get where you need to get. losing your job has helped you strengthen your character and your writing more personal. i looked at your SR for next year, and feel like youre going to be traveling a lot and be in the spotlight somehow. please keep us updated in the future. i really think/feel you have a chart that is capable of great things in the literary world.
