i was wondering that sun and moon sign of parents determine sun (or moon) sign children....eg both my parents are aries and my mother has sagg moon and father has cancer moon.....now their children (3 of us) are sagg, leo, and cancer....so i am thinking sun signs of children may often complete the other signs in the elmement ..like my parents were aries and they also have leo and sagg children or may have their moon signs represnted in children i know another couple they have sun moon conjuct in cancer....and their daughter is pisces.... so list sun and moon signs of couple you know, and sun and moon of their children...letus see...if there is a pattern IP: Logged |

My Mom has Moon in Scorpio, and my Father had Moon in PiscesI have Sun in Scorpio contraparallel Pluto and Moon in Pisces square Neptune however my mom has Sun in 12th trine Neptune,and my father had Sun contraparallel Pluto like me. my father had Sun in Capricorn trine Stationary Saturn. I have Sun quincunx Saturn which conjuncts Midheaven (10th house cusp...could be connected to the father)

Interesting topic emma.
I have been thinking about this lately for some reason.My Dad has a Scorpio Sun and Leo Moon
My Mother has a Aries Sun and Taurus Moon
My Sister has a Leo Sun and Capricorn Moon
And I have a Aries Sun and Sag Moon.
The recent addition my neice has an Aries Sun and Moon. Definitely a theme of Fire and Earth in my family. And I seem to have completed the triad with my Sagg Moon.

Sis 3 Taurus Sun, Pisces MoonMe Aquarius Sun, Scorpio Moon Niece Cancer Sun, Leo Moon both at 0 degrees as well.Note her mother is Sis 1 also Leo Moon. Nephew Taurus Sun, Virgo Moon-Sis 2's son. hmm i just notice alot of fire/water.. EDIT:My Mum's has no water in her chart..very Earth dominant chart. Dad's Chart is very Aries Fire dominant.

Nothing like that runs in my family.....the only neat thing is this....I biologically have a Gemini Father and Leo Mother and I have a Gemini daughter and will give birth to a Leo daughter. I don't think I'll ever forget their birthdays. Parent/child signs are reversed....this is off topic but sorta parent/child.IP: Logged |

--So to complete the fire element, she needs Leo. I have a Leo Moon.

Something I've noticed in most family relationships & other close relationships:
Find the person's tightest hard aspect in their natal chart. A family member/person who they're close to will narrowly aspect it.I deleted the unnecessary examples. Suffice to say, I have examples of this between all my family members. Of the non-family members I'm close to, I have it with everyone I've checked so far, as well. So more than sign compatibility, or attractive isolated synastry aspects (like her Venus cnj his Mars, etc.), I think we become closest to people who touch our natal hard aspects (&/or we touch there's). I'm curious if others will also notice this connection between family members. IP: Logged |

*bro* aqua sun gemini moon My chart is very compatible with my dads and we look the same and have the same personality too. We clash because of this. lol I hate my mums aries moon. I wish she had moon in taurus or something. She needs a chill pill. she has too much air and fire. ------------------

For me I can see a definite pattern in my family...Three girls are all cardinal Suns and fixed Moons
oldest sis Cappy.... Scorpio Moon
Me Libra.....Aquarius Moon
Youngest sis Cancer....Scorpio Moon
The Moon shows our mum who is a fixed Sun sign Aquarius and Moon Aquarius
with Virgo Ascendant
My dad is a Gemini Sun and Moon With my partner his is something similar...
One girl in his family
Taurus sun... Leo Moon
And then all the boys have squared Suns
and mutable planets.
Oldest boy
Pisces Sun... Sagittarius Moon
next brother
Virgo Sun... Sagittarius Moon
next brother
Sagittarius Sun... Capricorn Moon
Then youngest boy
Aries Sun... Taurus Moon....
Definite fire/Earth influence My babies are a mix of me and partner since I am cardinal air sun and he is mutable water sun
