So the new moon is not only a new moon, but a blue moon... Its supposed to have a much larger effect. Heres some quotes i found on it.

"A Black moon is seen as an omen of change, and hidden truths will be brought to the surface."

"New Moon in Aquarius, time to start again"

“A new cycle is beginning for you. The Aquarius New Moon can empower you to move in a bold direction. You may break free from bad habits and relationships. You could awaken to your divine destiny. You are no longer distracted by fear and doubt. You are ready to be who you were born to be. "

Mix all of this in, with Venus so close to turning direct... seems to me big change is on the way.

What do you guys think?

I'm perplexed.

Is it a new moon, or a Black Moon? As in the apogee of the moon?

Both. Its a new moon... but its called a Black Moon because its the second new moon is a single month.

What is truly unusual is that this is a Julian Black Moon, (two New Moons in a calendar month) and it is also an Astrological Black Moon (two New Moons in the same Sign in a Lunar Cycle.)

They call it a Super Moon, so I assume it is in it's perigee, but I haven't checked.

That means it is close to the Earth in it's elliptical cycle.

This Astrological Black Moon is the companion to the Blue Moon that occurred back in August, both are in Aquarius.

There was a Grand Sextile at that time of the year as well, when the Sun was Rising with Sirius.

This has been one weird, weird year.

Also, Venus is now Stationary, and it is Conjunct Pluto at thirteen Capricorn, going Direct tomorrow.
