Hi everyone!

If you have a Capricorn Moon yourself and are or were married... OR... if you know someone (preferably female) who has a Capricorn Moon..

I'm curious whether the spouse is significantly older...

Thanks for sharing

Good question - one would think that Cappie moon aspires to an older, serious partner.

I've never married anyone, before but I've only been interested in dating older men--not too much older (3-8yrs age difference). d

My mom's a Cap moon, in the 5th house. My father was only 2 years older than her. Not exactly a happy marriage though.

My father's major aspects to my mom's Cap moon:

His moon sextiled hers
His Uranus squared her moon
His Pluto opposed her moon
His NN squared her moon

My mom's moon fell into my father 7th.

Despite how unhappy and unloved she was, she stayed in the marriage and was very devastated when my father died, despite how badly (I believe) he treated her over the years. And to add to that, right before he died, when he was in the hospital, I left her alone in his room with him, and he just tore her apart about all the things he had been unhappy and angry about throughout their marriage. Just unbelievably vicious things, about how she hadn't been a good wife or a good housekeeper. That's what he left her with for 4 decades of marriage. So I guess he made good on that "open enemies" bit about the 7th house.

My mom's a Gem-Cap with Virgo rising, BTW. My father was Lib-Sco with Cancer rising.

My mom also has Capricorn Moon, and is married to my dad, who has Aries Moon. He's 3 years older, and it's not the happiest marriage due to my dad not being the expressive/communicative type and my mom being well, strict Capricorn Moon and a dreamy Pisces lol.

My aunty has cancer rising.. Capricorn on her descendant and my uncle is 30 years older than her.

My mum whos cancer rising and cap on her descendant married my father who is 9 years older.

I think it's more 7th house and your ideal partner and what you attract.

My aunty has moon in sag and my mum has moon aries. I married a guy 10 years older than me I have saturn in first its my 5th house ruler.

My mom's a Cappy moon and her husband (my stepfather) is like 8 years younger. Meeeeoooow!!!
I would say he's very mature and was always quite serious though he proposed to her on like the second dated! He was 28, she was 36, with a child (me) and a mother to take care of.
I think this moon speaks more of the woman who it belongs to. My mother was saddled with a lot of responsibility. So she found someone responsible who just happened to be 8 years younger.

I do not know any cappie moons. I can say however that I have moon in the 10th house with Saturn trining it. The people am I am attracted to or have dated have always been older enough for there to be a significant age gap at that time. The thought of dating someone younger is actually a bit of a turn off. :-/

I also have venus in the 10th...

I have a Capricorn moon and older men flock to me.

It's a never ending pattern but I haven't met anyone significant though, I'm in love with someone who is only 3 years older than me right now.

I've read that Cap-Moon women tend to like older or responsible-serious men. Personally I think it comes down to the seriousness/maturity factor mostly...and older men are "supposed," to be more mature compared with younger men. Although, in the film biz, regardless of age, most men seem to stay forever immature. =P

My mom's a Cappy-moon, but my dad's only 4yrs older than her. He likes cracking jokes which usually annoys the heck out of her. However my dad's actually a really serious-responsible type of guy. He's never late, and always consistently delivers.

I'm a Cappy-moon too...and a pretty serious person too. For me, age is only a number and it comes down to the person,...they have to be relatively serious but mostly responsible men. I cant stand flakey men who take things lightly. I think NO women wants a flake, but I've noticed that most women put up with it, (even if she's really unhappy). It's exactly why many women go for that bad boy who stirs her heartstrings rather than plan for the long-term future. This is just something I absolutely, cannot tolerate or compromise on. I would rather be with someone who I'm not as passionate about (granted I'd have to "like," him), but who never fails to deliver. I like practicality & security...

Speaking of which...my cousin (Cappy-moon as well), is getting married this Xmas to an extremely wealthy man. He's a real gentleman who treats her like a queen, but sadly lacks in the looks department. She's just not attracted to him at all & took almost 2years to reach this final decision. She told me herself that she'd rather marry someone who's financially secure & worships her, over a hot guy who cant provide her security. Again, it comes down to security...

I feel the same way

That's true about some women. I never understand it. In my case it's not so much an *either* -- *or*... situation (as in: either passion OR security)
I am only passionate about men I see as responsible/secure. It goes hand in hand for me. They turn me on (I have a Capricorn Mars as well). "Bad Boy" types purely in virtue of being "boys" and immature are a huge put off for me. lol When I see a bad boy type - I feel like someone drenched me in cold water. It kills my sexual response horribly. I feel like nagging them and sending them to their rooms with no video games for a week.

I really think Capricorn=Saturn and Saturn rules time, so often there's just an age gap. I don't think it necessarily means older, since often the person themselves with the Cappy influence IS older and might even need someone more 'young' (at heart, or in age) to help them 'lighten up'. My mother was too serious before she met my dad (despite being Aqua rising and sun)...almost bitter too. When she met him and they married she almost turned younger in attitude and became more open. This is part of how Saturn operates, I think.
Of course he was mature and extremely responsible also. But he was not as experienced in relationships as she was (meaning he hadn't been married before, ever), so she really is the older party here on several levels (except when you talk to both them, he is so much more Saturnine in speech than she is lol.)

Good Point! It's funny that my guy (who is older) actually lightens me up hehe I think it's his Gemini Moon.

But that's very true about Saturn and time. Maybe the age gap can go either way.

hmmm That's interesting... I wonder if that's what faith holds for me -- eventually .. Or maybe it's different in my case since there is a good chance that my DC is Capricorn.

wow
Well I actually have a strong feeling I may be marrying this guy. I was saying a while ago on the "Commitment Phobe" thread.. that I'm not all that into marriage, but I wouldn't run away from it either. It's a piece of paper at the end of the day - The feeling behind it is what matters most. But with this guy I just have a strong feeling it will be serious enough for us to want to make it official..

I think Capricorn influences in a chat would lean to having an older parter. I have a Cappy Mars and a little bit on Capricorn in my 7th even though Saggy is on my 7th. (A person with Sun in Capricorn from 0 to 10 dgrees would be in my 7th house.)

I have always gone for older and was not interested in men younger than me. I also have older friends and usually find that I'm the baby of the group. I have enjoyed older people because they have alot of life experiences and can relate to what I go through in my life. Younger folks, that I have socialized with don't seem to have much life experience knowledge....I'm sure there are folks younger than me who have also have had a tonne of life experience but I haven't come across anybody like that in real life.

I agree with the Saturn representing an age gap, not necessarily "older". My long term partners have all been younger. This is not something I look for, simply the connections that happen. I have often attributed this to my Venus conjuncting the Pluto of the generation about 8 years younger than myself.
I would prefer a responsible man, yet have a difficult time finding a man of my own age, or older, with the combination open-mindedness and wisdom that I crave.
