I live in Brazil, early 2019 was marked by several tragedies:

Brumadinho dam that broke in Minas Gerais, 235 were killed in total.

Fire at the Flamengo Training Center, in total, 10 were killed.

Massacre in Suzano, some guys broke into a school armed, killed some people and then killed themselves shortly thereafter.

On April 7, a family that was inside a car, in the neighborhood of Guadalupe, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, was surprised by 80 shots fired by military personnel.

Anyway, there were thousands of other tragedies that marked the beginning on 2019 in Brazil and also in the world.

On April 19, I tried to commit suicide, I took more than 140 pills, I had to be hospitalized and stay in the hospital for a few days, I almost died.

In my personal solar revolution, Mars is making an exact opposition with Algol and in the transits of April 19 Algol makes a conjunction of 4 degrees with the Moon.

This year Algol will be passing through Mars again, stay tuned for events.

You've witnessed (and felt strong about) the sudden violent events and instability in your Country. (I understand being sensitive like that, from events in my own town, and even to a shooting that happened by driveby shooter blasting 18 bullets into the building cady-corner from me! .. no one got hurt, only shook up!!)
Events in my City usually happen in June, through July/Aug.

Algol is a Fixed Star located around 25+ Taurus. It doesn't move.

Transiting Mars is in Gemini now (in future weeks will make a crossing over Fixed Star Aldebaran ~ 9+ Gemini). So, Mars has already cleared Algol when it was in Taurus.

Your natal chart shows early degrees of Taurus on your IC (4th House). You have no planets in your 4th, aspecting Algol (in chart I have for you).

With Fixed Stars the planet has to be in a conjunction.
Or, a transiting planet/body making temporary conjunction touching the degree of Algol in the chart may activate its energy?

As I understand it (having been in live webinars with astrologer Bernadette Brady), Fixed Stars "cast no rays" .. meaning that its energy is 'confined' TO the degree it inhabits-- {if I'm remembering her correctly}.

ORB - Can include degree before and after the Fixed degree. of a Fixed Star. So with planets/luminaries/points, it counts WHEN in conjunction.

Effects of fixed stars don't travel (make aspects, rays) across the chart wheel to affect other points of the chart. Planets and luminaries DO.

Yeah.. about all those tragedies, and the COVID. What counts is that YOU are alright, and getting through it.
