Hiya everybody: Happy Solar Eclipse!

I know I have been asking a lot of questions about my chart lately but I'm finally getting to a point where I'm starting to feel comfortable with the wonderful people on this site. So, I thought I would put this out there, especially since the Solar Eclipse is today!

My career means the most to me pertaining to the depts in my life (compared to love or having a family...), which I never understood since I don't have any planets in the 10th house- but my 10th house ruler is conj my Sun.

A little about me... I'm completely scattered when it comes to jobs. I have had about 40 in my life (and I'm just 31). I was a professional musician (played french horn in a prof. orchestra) until I had a sinus surgery and the doctor hit a major nerve in my face- which ended my career.

Since then I just been floating around- got degrees in Music, Architecture, Graphic Design... continuously taking classes now for Photography and different medias (like drawing, painting and ceramics)

All I know is I need to be active/moving around, traveling... I usually end up moving to a different city every 2 yrs. I have issues with the normal 9-5 job- It has to have a creative aspect to it. I would like it to be related to volunteer services but I'm starting to think I can do that on the side separate to my career (I just enrolled in Habitat for humanity so I can put my architecture degree to use after my back injury heals.)

Lately I have been having visions about running a Art Gallery/Studio for all my work (since my art work covers multiple areas) it's just pushing my insecurities to the side and saying I can do this! If I start going down this route it's going to be like setting a 5 yr goal to get to that place- so I can take some business classes and other art classes and just having enough work for a gallery.

Here is my chart... if anything pops out let me know! I'm soooo open to anything!

One thing that really concerns me is that my 2nd, 6th and 10th house rulers form my YOD (with my 3rd in here and the 9th being the boomerang)... I have no clue what to even think about that one but I think it's highly important to get all those energies adjusted and working together.

Thanks for listening to me ramble and any thoughts you have. I'm just ready to be out of limbo with my career.

Moon oppose Uranus, with these oppose/conjunct Sun/Pluto sextile's midpoint.. The Sun/Pluto midpoint can represent the the deepest chore of you. With Moon/Uranus opposition, do you find your emotions unstable or that you're often seeking for excitement (routine not being your cup of tea)? With these touching the Sun/Pluto mp, I wonder if you're often in constant transformation when it comes to your deep chore.

Sun conjunct Neptune, a dreamer/artist at chore. I just noticed that Neptune is also part of that yod configuration. With Neptune being part of it, I would wonder if your idealism and dreams are also in constant transformation.
This is an interesting configuration for an artist, as it feels so deep and lots of dreams and idealism, as if you're in constant changes and transformation, in search of the meanings and inspiration.

Jupiter trine Mercury and square Venus seems that you're a charming person.

The emotional aspect (with Moon/Uranus) has gotten a lot better over the years- usually people don't see that side of me. People actually see me as being really calm and people usually come to me when they are upset and emotional to assist them thru their breakdowns, like an escape goat. I work well under extreme stress/chaos... But, I don't like routine/to be bored with my job, which that won't ever change- I have to be constantly growing/transforming through my career... that's why I have had so many jobs.

I'm always going thru transformation or I'm apart of people's transformation... I was a life coach (kind of still am for free)...

I don't know about the charming part... people might see that side of me but I'm not completely aware of it. I have always wondered about the whole Jupiter square Venus aspect.

Thanks for giving my brain something to chew on

Thanks Ami for the support

I think it might be one of the only jobs that will give me the freedom, growth, transformation and an outlet for my emotions that I desire and need.

Keep on following your intuition... I wish I followed mine more often (you think I wouldn't have a issue with intuition with my Neptune conj Sun...LOL)

*hugs* sweetie

I hope you are having a positive Solar Eclipse day!

Hi Racole

A non-astrological reply, but how would that fit with your need to be free and to move at will? Presumably a gallery would require a lease and a financial commitment that would likely be more restrictive than a job?

Could you tie in your interests with something like teaching/lecturing/workshops? That would allow you to express your creativity - when, how, and where you like?

I admire you.

Racole,

I'm wondering if the time of your chart needs to be adjusted, especially from your mention of having had back problems recently. I'm thinking that you may have been born just a few minutes earlier because a strong sign of back issues or injury, etc. is when Solar Arc Neptune contacts the MC/IC Axis. The way your chart is set up now it looks like SA Neptune is about to Semi-Square your MC which is the same as Sesquiquadrate your IC. If you notice from the planet degree list under the zodiac, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto are all at the 20th degree by Solar Arc. When Neptune reaches 21, that is the Semi-Square and Sesquiquadrate to your MC/IC Axis.

I bring this up because I'm wondering if this already happened. If that was a strong reflection of your back injury.

When did your back injury occur? It could have been triggered by transiting Saturn if it occurred sometime in 2007 or 2008 but I'd need to be sure.

If your chart is already correct, I would suggest keeping a very strong eye on whatever remedies you have for your back and keep them going strongly and preferrably holistically as Solar Arc Neptune approaches the exactness of Semi-Square and Sesquiquadrate to your MC/IC Axis.

eskimono~ Hi there

I just started having this vision about a week ago... so I'm no where close to working out plans. All I know is that if I start working toward this goal it's going to be on like a 5 yr plan. Anyway, I would end up renting what I can afford (I have no interest in owning...) Plus, in my eyes the hours it is open would be up to me so if I want to travel two weeks for to collect inspiration I wouldn't have to wait 6-12 months to ask off for work.

Right now I'm a free-lance designer which allows me to be financially stable for now but I'm not truly happy with it- I need something a little more grounded (having a space to show my work) and it to be more connect to me... as in, like right now I'm doing a lot of presentation boards for architecture firms. After they are done with their presentations they mostly throw my work away and there isn't much creativity to it... I just do what they tell me to do.

Pertaining to the teaching/lecturing/workshops... that's was extremely restrictive for me. I taught high school band for 2 yrs, and gave music clinics and lectures and Assisted Teaching for a couple years for some major art workshops... I'll never do it again. Lesson plans, following schedules to a tee... being responsible for hundreds of people at one time was crazy. Then all the small details of renting out places to have workshops/lectures and all the paperwork that went with everything (and more paperwork on top of paperwork and the politics)...omg- it was hell. LOL. I was lucky to get 3-4 hrs a sleep a night. I felt like I was following everybody else's schedule but mine... I had no life.

Thanks for the admiration... I so need that right now Thank You.

Geocosmic~

My back problems didn't start until 2009. My back is getting better but from now on it's going to be a consistent issue in my life. I'll need surgery in the future and to completely change my health regime to keep my back healthy

Plus, I had 3 people remember my birthtime (b/c I was premie- 2 1/2 months). They said I came out so fast that everybody was looking at the clock. It was (and still) a big inside joke. LOL. I'm open to anything but I'm 99.99% sure that's my birthtime...I have tired to argue with my mom about it and she actually gets defensive when I bring up the birthtime thing. LOL

EDIT: dates for back injury (never had previous back injury before 2009...)

Feb 2009- first ER visit. Issue only lasted 2 weeks.- didn't stop my life- just in a lot of pain.

July 2009- second flair up, worst than the first but only lasted about 2 weeks- was not able to work/bend for about a week.

Mid-March 2010- third flair up- to the ER 2 times... literally couldn't walk for a month but started getting better.

Mid-May 2010- everything just went to hell- went to the ER 2 more times. I just started being able to wobble to the kitchen and bathroom 2 weeks ago. I'm still in a lot of pain. I can only stand up for about 5- 10 mins at a time right now. I'm on a lot of steroids and will be for a long while... plans are in the making what's going to happen next...

June/July is the first talk about needing surgery and completed all the test to show where and what I need and what is actually damaged.

If you need more details than this let me know

My mom might not be open to a different birthtime (I just asked her again- I got the evil look. LOL) but I am... BUT if it is off it can't be more than a min or so- with my ASC staying in Gemini.

Thanks!

The Jupiter/Venus square can also show an interest in social activities/having fun, and the Jupiter/Mercury trine can show an open mind or interest in philosophy. X3

Hard aspects like that opposition doesn't always have to be negative, if a person knows how to deal with them, it can become a very positive thing (like in your case, working well under stress/chaos).

Hello Racole,

It sounds like you've got quite a lot of proof that your birth time is correct. Tell your Mom I'm sorry for doubting her.

I guess that what I'm seeing is the symbolism that suggests the circumstances of upcomming surgery and all that's required for what might be an extended recovery time. But the Neptune=MC can also suggest a very inspirational time for you artistically.

I would encourage you to think of the Yod in your chart a just a midpoint picture. It's a powerful midpoint picture that suggests you will project much power. My opinion of the definition of a Yod is too general because we are constantly trying to adjust the energies of EVERY ASPECT in our charts. The most important part is that you have two strong midpoints there:

Moon=Sun/Pluto - Attempts to project power and persuasion; feelings possibly trampled in relationship.

and

Moon=Neptune/Pluto - Extreme creativity possible; high sensitivity; big mood sweeps and fluctuations; anxiety about being appreciated.

To me it appears that you've got a lot of spirit backing you up (backing=pun intended), allow that to happen. You'll need to remember that as you go through recovery, that everything will work out, during that time you'll be able to use your mind to create the future you want once your back is healed.

People with Pisces Midheaven can expect to have several professions through out life, it is a double-creature sign, just like Gemini and can include Sagittarius as well.

Geocosmic~

No, thank you for looking at my chart! No concern about my mom- that's just her. LOL.

The whole Moon = Sun/Pluto concerns me. Doesn't sound positive at all. But, I do have feelings of being trampled in relationship, but this year I really started taking a stand for myself when it's happened. You can only get hit by a frying pan to the head so many times until you just lay there playing dead or grab the damn thing... LOL

Moon = Neptune/Pluto... I do have the anxiety issue of being appreciated and I'm highly sensitivity- but I have been working on that. A lot of people think I'm psychic. LOL

Thanks for giving me a new perspective to look at my Yod!

Conica23~ I agree with the whole negativity of the Moon/Uranus aspect... how it doesn't have to be bad. A lot of people look at my chart and see it and just straight come out and ask if I'm mentally disturbed and how I'm never be mentally stable. It's just not right... I'm usually the one holding it all together when everybody else is going crazy!

Popcorn~

Unfortunately I have no interest in kids or having kids. Never have...

Racole,

The MC/IC Axis is a strong representative of the spine/back bone as a support. When Neptune transits or progresses to that axis it can act as a weakening or disolving influence. For example, check out Michael Jackson's Solar Arc chart for 2005 when he was going to court. Make sure you set his chart time as 11:53 P.M. There were significant Neptune transits and/or SA's to his MC by Semi-Square or Quindecile (which is the 165 degree aspect). This was when he was walking into court in his pajamas.

As for orbs with Solar Arcs - 30 degrees approaching exact which translates to about 6 months approaching and 3 months leaving. So a Solar can be strongly in affect for about 9 months to a year.

You're welcome. But I made a mistake with MJ's chart. In 2005 Neptune had not quite reached his Midheaven by transit, however, it was opposing his natal Venus which rules his 12th House which is one of the health center houses. In medical astrology Venus rules the lower back, the endocrine system (and Michael had so many issues dealing with his endocrine system resulting in his Lupus, over production of adrenaline, other issues), kidneys, pancreas.

When Michael died last year, Neptune had already reached his MC and opposed his Mercury which rules his 1st House health center suggestive of his lung infection and heavy use of drugs which eventually killed him.

I think you have to focus a lot on the 6th House Sun conjunct Neptune, the inspiration will come. Worry not about the yod. Sun quincunx Moon in Taurus = Adjustment with earthy practicality and Adjustment with patience. Your idea of a 5 year plan is excellent in this regard. The other quincunx of Moon to Pluto is emotional adjustment, deep down DO NOT FEEL LIKE A LOSER for not sticking to jobs or a career. Trash that feeling immediately and utilize emotional control to successfully complete a 5 year career plan.

Jupiter in 2nd will always ensure cash flow, and Jupiter trines Mercury, luck with your fingers, i.e go for your Art goals with 100% confidence. Again, Allow Neptune-Sun combo to telepathically inspire the themes.

iQ~

Thanks for your response.

That's another thing I'm not too happy with is that 6th house Sun conj Neptune. I haven't heard a positive thing about that either... but I keep telling myself if my Sun/Neptune/Merc was in a different house I wouldn't of been blessed with 3 planets in my 5th house

But with the whole Jupiter trine Merc is dead on. By the time I was 13 I knew how to play every musical instrument possible and had no issue picking up an instrument and just start playing... always had great hand to eye coordination... like with drawing, painting or anything like that.

EDIT: also pertaining to focusing on my Sun. Is it weird that my Sun is being completely influenced by all 4 mutable energies? As in, Sun in Sag, in the 6th, conj Neptune, Sun rules 3rd house...

I so need to learn more about medical astrology. I would of never guessed that Venus had a hand pertaining to the lower back!
