Hi Knowflakes  I think I'm having a mid-life crisis at 21  I'm 21, currently pursuing a DDS degree...am in 4th year now. But I feel stifled by it and want to become an author. I've already completed my book and am currently revising it. Please look at my chart and tell me if there is any hope of getting published.
 The TRUTH is always welcome  P.s. I returned to my hostel last night and was already feeling suicidal though I didn't do anything crazy. I just know this degree is going to be the end of me as I get so sick just staying there... ------------------

Then, I could call.I am not good enough to look at the chart.
My feeling is get your degree.
You have come this far. Then, don't use it,if you don't want to.Micheal Creighton(sp?) never worked as a doctor.
Does this make sense?

I can't now. I am doing something where I am back and forth on the computer rather than can just sit and talk.
Are you adept enough to install msn cuz I can see that light come on all the time so can know when you are there?

Hi Frozenqueen,
Venus in 3rd and Mars in 9th is definitely good for earning after getting published.
You must try and publish the book. However, having a degree never hurt anyone. To drop out in the 4th year is not a good idea unless the stress is too much. You can consider a break and follow up after a couple of years, you are so young.
Dump the suicidal thoughts, those are negative vibes of any negative people who frequent the hostel. Your 6th House Neptune is absorbing these unnecessary feelings.

Hey IQ, thanks for replying.I'm not really concerned about the money, I know it's gonna come. It's the book that is driving me crazy or more specifically the circumstances around it. I want to get published so that I can get the HELL out of that place. The money will come, it always does. As a student, I've been broke several times but I've never been poor. I can earn money in several ways using the Internet( Uranus in 6th) and my Saturn in 6th keeps coming up with solid, workable ideas to bring in cash so existence is never a problem for me. My Neptune in 6th edits out a lot of them because work should have a purpose to make us grow spiritually. I don't want to write because it's going to bring in money, though I would be pleased when it does I write because it drives me insane, quite literally, if I am unable to pull ideas and creativity out of Neptune's misty realms and onto Saturn's physical world. My soul mission as I understand it is to get this story out to the world, no care if it doesn't bring me a dime. I'm blessed enough to attract money towards me just when I need it and in the exact amount: God is my banker. But I cannot stand the degree. For me the degree is symbolic. It represents the wishes of the Other, the society that wants us to tread upon well-worn paths but those are not for me. I care not how lucrative it seems to others but I cannot feed my soul with money.
P.s. Are you using a Vedic Chart or the equal-house system?
Because when I use Placidus, my Venus is in the 2nd and Mars is in the 8th.

I felt the same way, but I still managed to get a Masters Degree. A degree can give you more authority on the Society that tried to control you. Think of it as them forcing you to develop a stick to bash them with. Why not do it? Negative people deserve a nice intellectual thrashing at regular intervals, and a degree in your book gives you the extra credibility factor. Think about this freely though, just don't make a hasty decision. You can even publish the first edition and then consider completing your degree.You have already developed the faith of attracting abundance in your life, so it is not about the money. P.S: I use Equal House Method on tropical charts. Vedics I use for calculating personal planet directions, it is slightly complex stuff, astro.com does not help in this.

IQ's advice is brilliant.
He has more life experience as I do.
In this world, the degrees matter.
It is just IS.
Your writing will have more credibility with that degree--a lot more.

Oh iQ, if only I cared about the society...I wouldn't be having these thoughts in the first place.But I don't give a damn and I mean it in the most literal way possible. What is society by the way? A hive-mind, that's all. And while it can be pretty powerful, I don't care for it because in my world, it's power does not exist. I have glimpsed the spark of my soul and no other light will do. Oh God! You see, I already know what I'm supposed to do...which is why I'm asking for advice Any planetary help coming my way? If it's yes, well that's a boost. If no, oh well, we didn't set out on the road so we could turn back, did we? ------------------
