I swear I'm nocturnal! Some how no matter what I find my sleeping pattern changing to be more tired during the day. I can get to sleep no problem. But I LOVE the night time, I feel more energized and ready to do some scandalous things  I was born at night and my moon is in Scorpio. So far that's my explanation for it and maybe my sun in Aqua since well Aquas do things at strange times. What would make one nocturnal? ------------------

I'm the same way, always have been. I was born in the morning but I have a 12th house sun and 8th house moon. Also uranus aspects all my angles, sun, moon and mercury. Maybe I just gotta be on an alternative schedule?IP: Logged |

My moon is also in my 12th house.

I'm nocturnal. I was born in the morning though. I have a lot of 12th house things, a lot of Pluto/Scorpio things and a lot of transneptunian things.Sorry to sound so daft, but I just woke up (at 12 midday) and I am still groggy. I slept after dawn.  IP: Logged |

Now of course I would understand I can sleep much later than that. In fact I have had pretty much every possible sleeping pattern in terms of hours out possible!  Usually this is because I am trying to fix my nocturnalness which never last long ------------------

It depends on my mood, as to when I prefer to be awake. There are things that I love about the night, but I also love being up at dawn - especially in the Spring (and in the winter, I prefer it, because there's so little light to the day itself). I used to draw all day and evening, and paint all night (intermixed with other things). I'd crawl into bed between 4am and 6am, unless I was trying to stick to a schedule of getting up at 5am, to have some tea and an apple, before getting my exercise out of the way early. (God, I miss that sort of motivation - now I have trouble even getting myself onto the treadmill. ) I was thinking that I don't like being up all night alone, when I'm depressed, but being up on a beautiful sunny day is worse, when you're feeling that bad. It's like it's almost an insult that the sun is shining - and that you're unable to enjoy it. At least rainy days give you an excuse to curl up on the couch. IP: Logged |

Oh. and I was born at 8:40pm, in April. I love Spring and Summer mornings and evenings, sometimes more than the day itself, because of how hot it can get. I prefer moderate temperatures, so Summer nights can be perfect with their warmth. I don't like to be cooped up with the air-conditioning (or at all) all summer, though. And I can't go wandering at night here, because we have no street lights or pavements. I have a Scorpio ascendant and 8th house placements, but I also have that Aries and Gemini. I'm very nocturnal and I have a 12th house stellium that includes my Chart Ruler. I love working nightshift and walking around in cities that never sleep at night, and I hate places that become dead after 8 or 9 o' clock. I guess I love the security of knowing things are still alive.
In the 8th I have Moon conjunct Lilith sextile Pluto...which trines my 6th house placements.
