l was looking at my progressed chart and was SHOCKED to find that my AC has progressed only 29' in 42 years! WTF?So i've basically spent my entire life to date with pr AC in virgo and it's still there for the next 5 years. How can this be? I thought ones pr AC changed every 15 years or so. Anyone else experienced this and does it mean anything? IP: Logged |

I found this in Astro.com, is this it please?" Do you offer converse progression charts? For 'converse' secondary progressions, use negative age with offset from your birth date. In extended chart selection, select 'progressed chart' and, if you are, for example, born in 1950 and want converse progressions for 2002, the age is 52. Using negative age, you ought to enter the year 1898 as 'start date' Primary directions are easily found here: Free Horoscopes -> extended chart selection -> group Astrodienst special -> chart type: 3-dimensional chart with primary directions for 30 years -> additional data tables This includes converse primary directions by default. Below the chart drawing, there is a link for 'special options' for various primary keys and other features. " IP: Logged |

Hi Lara Secondary Progressions are a day for a year. At astro.com under circular charts pull down Natal and Progressions. See if that works. The only progressions I work with are Secondary. IP: Logged |

Nothing yet I'm a tad confused Lala! lol be patient with me Am l doing this right? I'm such a visual person l find it hard to grasp things by written word. I just look at progressed chart right? It shows virgo AC for almost my entire life! So when you say you look at secondary progressions, how do you work them out on astro.com or do you simply add 1 degree to every planet for each year please? So with an AC of leo 29', at age 31 my secondary progressed AC was at 1' libra?

give me your stats and I'll do it for you. if you're uncomfortable posting this on the boards E-mail me. I'm online now so I can edit it.edited to add: if your Progressed Ascendant was 29 degrees at age 31 then you have a 28 degree Cancer Ascendant. That doesn't sound right. IP: Logged |

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you were born in higher latitudes? So the rising sign stays longer in the sky and therefore it takes longer for the rising signs to change.eta: My progressed sign has only changed 19 degrees and I am 22 years old. IP: Logged |

I just tried with mine...When I'm your age my progressed AC will be at 2 Leo, which is 35 degrees from my natal AC. So maybe the rising sign doesn't move a degree a year. IP: Logged |

Interesting. It takes 42 years for yours to move 35'. It takes 42 years for mine to move 33'. lol not much in it, is there? So maybe some signs are slower than others dependent on the ruler? I would have thought mercury ruled virgo/gemini would be quick though! IP: Logged |

Nah, I don't think it's signs. I think it's either because of the time of year we were born (I was born in Winter, you were born in Spring) or the different latitudes. Let me change my location of birth and see if it makes a difference. IP: Logged |

Yeah... I think the close to the equator you are, the faster it takes for progressed rising signs to change. I changed mine to Cuba instead of DC and it went 38 degrees in 42 years.IP: Logged |
