Topic: Trying to understand Sagittarius/Scorpio cusp? (my birth chart inside)

I'm born on 19th of November. Wondering, am I on the cusp of Sagittarius and Scorpio? Some websites say it begins on the 20th November, some say the 19th, I even saw one that said 16th!I must admit the Sagitarius-Scorpio cusp descriptions sum me up SO much better than either of the individual ones. I've always had a sort of internal struggle between the light-hearted happy fun loving side of me and the deeper, secretive, quiet me. When I was younger I used to try and only be one or the other as it caused me so much confusion, but as I grow I'm coming to accept both sides of me. My challenge now is to somehow merge them together so I don't feel so... fragmented! If I'm not quite on the cusp then all the other Sagittarius placements in my charts must push me over that way, right? Please advise and I'd love to hear from other Sagitarrius-Scorpio people and how they've managed to merge two VERY different signs. My birth data: MegaScorp Sex M

I would call you a scorpio sun.The light and happy could come from the ruler of your ascendant (Aquarius = uranus) being placed in Saggitarius, along with mercury, jupiter and neptune. Add to that the fact that your MC is in Sagittarius also, it makes for a strong sagittarian influence added to your scorpio self. Also, have a look at your progressed chart. I am pretty sure your progressed sun is most likely in sagittarius now. I am not a believer in cuspal astrology.

Thanks, that's interesting! I didn't know my Midheaven was in Sagitarrius too. Yeah, I guess all this would explain why I can relate to Cusp descriptions even though many argue there's no such thing as the cusp.The fun thing about having lots of Sagittarius in my system is people will often underestimate me and think I'm something of a push over. But they don't know I'm really a Scorpio who'll bite back if pushed too hard.  It's quite easy for me to surprise people. IP: Logged |

Yeah in my opinion that is why you relate to the cusp description so much - because it does essentially describe your mix of scorpio and sag energies.As to the whole cusp argument, everyone has their own pet theory IP: Logged |
