Hi,Wondering what people thought about identical angles in synastry. I have this with my boyfriend...less than 1 degree apart all the way from the ASC to the 12th house. This also means we share the same Vertex...Vertex is activated by our composite moon exaclty...in the 8th house. His NN in scorpio is conjunct our ASC's, and my NN in Gemini is not only conjunct his moon, but in my (our) 8th house...the house ruled by scorpio. Kinda feels like we have the same path to follow...the relationship is HARD, and also hard to break. Thoughts? IP: Logged |

If you take out AC,vertex, and north node, you have something to compare. I don't use them in astrological compatibility.You wouldn't expect as many people to use asteroids, but, for some reason, they do. IP: Logged |

House rulers 1 and 7 in aspect with each other.

We have scorpio/taurus 1st/7thSo pluto/venus? My Pluto is 26 Libra, and Venus is 9 Virgo His Pluto is 10 Libra and Venus is 18 Libra His pluto is sextile my sun at 10 in Leo
and apparently we have a Contra-Antiscion relationship between our Venus signs. I have Juno in taurus conjunct his DC
He has Chiron in taurus conjunct my DC, so we also have Juno/Chiron conjunction (not sure what that really means)? IP: Logged |

I don't know a thing about transits or how to find that information. I had an astrologer tell me that same exact angles mean shared experiences, and that it's about as rare as 1 in every 360 couples.Of course we have aspects going on, but this really seems to stand out as important to me, and was just wondering what peoples thoughts were... I do use angle/angle conjunctions when looking at synastry, as I feel that those have been meaningful to me in my (numerous) relationships.Generally, ASC/ASC does mean same path or affinity. It is better if you have ASC/DSC or MC/IC in terms of "glue" or "completeness." IP: Logged |

I had conjunct ascendant with a student therapist and it sucked. Nothing at all. Little sissy doctor's kid. Ick.

Mercury is ruler of both Gemini and Virgo. Venus has rulership over both Taurus and Libra.IP: Logged |

Coffee, is it only 1st and 7th house aspects you consider "soulmate" aspects?would you care to elaborate on what stands out to you in syanstry as far as soulmate aspects go?
may i ask you, what is considered stronger -
person A h1/ASC ruler trine person B DSC/h7 ruler. OR Persons A h7/DSC ruler Conjunct Person B h7/DSC ruler. what about a quincunx aspect like Person A h1/ASC ruler quincunx Person B h1/ASC ruler.
do you not consider ic/mc rulers? if so, why not?

Our soulmate connections seem to be the hardest ones to deal with.. IDK I have alot of "soulmate" aspects with Pisces.. Sighhh.. What a disaster... I guess we are learning soul mates.. IDK...

What would people say about this: Moon in the 8th, Venus/Mars/Pluto in the 12th Lots of water house stuff, and since we have the same angles, he brings all that energy to me. What are peoples thoughts on someone bringing to someones life the same energy they bring to their own, especially when its deep and emotional? IP: Logged |

i notice that there is a down to earthness from other scorpios i feel. it's almost like a mutual understanding while in their presence, but not much more than that. my girlfriend has aries in the 7th house of relationships, my sun, venus, and mercury. she has taurus in the 8th house, the house of sexual tastes, and i have mars in taurus, so i bring to her exactly what she likes. having saturn touch your partners 7th house or vise versa inspires marriage. having a mars touch your partners 8th house or vise versa inspires good sex. also if your moon touches his sun, it's a strong attraction. theres other indicators too, but thats about it for now. ------------------

btw, with other scorpio ascendants, it tends to go either way, either an aloofness between us, or a pretty strong connection, i talk to a younger scorpio ascendant online all the time and he always come to me for advice on things. IP: Logged |

Another thing to consider is that aspects to chart rulers can indicate potent attraction. I feel that house overlays is very limiting...I mean sure the mail man could have his Mars in my 8th house, but I'm not sexually attracted to him, etc... So it reinforces the aspects verses being the complete picture. Planets conjunct the IC, definitely has a soul mate potential. Especially pleasent planets such as Venus or Jupiter... IP: Logged |

Well, we have some aspects that I already know are strong/good for synastry...just posting the ones I don't know about, but seem important...I have moreHis Chiron conjunct my Juno/DC
My Juno conjunct his DC
My Chiron conjunct his Jupiter These are all within 1-2 degrees

I have all that with Pisces.. Only Uranus stepped in and killed it all... Its so flipping unstable its ridiculous! I just realized in the Composite Uranus conjuncts DSc (soo opps Asc) Not to mention the other Uranus stuff going on... I think this is the reason we keep talking stop talking stop talking stop... ASC rulers CONJUNCT.
(ok, they're either conj or in the same sign)Discuss!! I feel like all the people I have the most constant contact with all have their chart ruler in Pisces. My favorite neighbor who is amazing to me and a great friend I just found out he's Taurus Asc, with Venus in Pisces conj my Sun (I'm Leo Asc) (no it's not romantic, he's gay). But we have a lot of affection for each other and we also have a lot of nodal contact, too. IP: Logged |
